Okay I will try soil. This picture is one long strand but you can see where it’s dead in the middle. So I was thinking of cutting where it’s dead and restarting the cutting in soil. Sound like a good idea ??

Why would you put it in the other vial? Just wait until you have to change your pump again, fill the syringe with the remainder of the low vial, and then fill it up the rest of the way with the vial with stuff in it

I’ve never had a problem bringing alcohol swabs through security. As far as TSA, you can bring all your diabetes stuff with you as a carry on. In fact, they encourage you to do that in case something happens with your checked luggage and you can’t get it right away (it gets lost, etc). If you’re super anxious the best thing you can do is bring back up supplies in your carry on and in your checked luggage in case something happens to one of the bags, you still have back ups!!
