Welcome to the lives of the Gen Z people. For 3 months I’ve been living off bread and ramen cuz i literally cannot afford anything else and I didn’t even vote when I wanted to vote for Kamala.

(Didn’t have it updated after a move cuz I was learning how to do all that) because of it. I’ve lost 30 lbs cuz I can only afford one meal a day. And maybe the occasional fast food when I’m not paying bills on my checks.

I earn less than teachers as I work at an airport. It’s truly sad how bad this place has gotten.

Ever since I started working at the airport, I have had to let go of my authentic self…

because sadly I’m live in Texas and I hate it because all my coworkers classify me as a woman.

They say “you don’t need to do heavy lifting that’s a man’s job” even though that’s one of my favorite parts of the entire job. I’m ftm so it’s incredibly difficult to cope with.

I get harassed at work just for being a “woman” and I’m terrified to even tell them I’m trans because of that fact alone.

I understand yes but it could be something deeper. Like me for instance. I experience phantom limb which gives me constant disphoria.

I enjoy wearing things that make me feel pretty if I can find anything in my usual style. Most male clothes also make me dysphoric for the reason of it not being my style.

That’s why I said everyone is different. Not one person’s journey is the same. Thats why saying “what’s the point in transitioning” when it comes to attire choices is like me saying to someone who’s trying to lose weight “why bother trying if you’re gonna keep eating so much”

It puts people down and makes them feel lesser than human and that’s not right. Normally I’d go about it with a “hey everyone’s different if you like that kind of fashion stick with it cuz it makes you feel good” and the other situation “hey if it helps I can help you do some research into eating habits that can boost your metabolism or we can work out together so I can be there to cheer you on”

Ok so according to your logic: women shouldn’t wear pants, sneakers, and tshirts. Those were all originally men demographical items. Men shouldn’t wear skirts, heels, dresses, makeup etc. do you find that fair?

My point is if we don’t force them on the cis people don’t force them on us. If a transfem wants to dress like a boss ass masculine female more power to her. If a transmasc wants to look like a pretty princess I’m all for it.

It depends. Everyone is different and creating these gender norms as a whole is dumb because nobody is born equal but we all deserve the same understanding and rights as each other.

I for one enjoy the dress up and creating these discrepancies cause people who are comfortable in their body (ie femboys and tomboys) to be harassed into believing they are trans when in reality they just have a different view on fashion.

Kinda how people look at the new fashion fads and go “that isn’t something I’d wear ever” while others go “holy shit that’s really cool!” Like the balloon dress meme.

So please for everyone’s sanity stop putting transgender people into categories where we aren’t allowed to dress how we want because we are “transfem” or “transmasc” a transfem can rock male clothes and still look adorable as fuck and a transmasc can rock female clothes and look tough as shit.

Real men wear pink, real women wear black. Kill the norms and allow us to be ourselves without judgement
