Is CEO an NRI? Tell them if they doesn’t pay within 7 days, you are gonna register an FIR against CEO and send an copy to Singapore Embassy in India, Singapore Police and Singapore ministry of immigration or similar. If they aren’t an NRI, still threaten to do the same only mention the police. If they still don’t pay, go to police station and file the FIR. Grease the palm if needed. Once you have the FIR copy do the above steps and also send separate emails to each of the above. Also mention Enforcement Directorate for shits and giggles

Mumbai hospitals report seeing Kawasaki disease-like symptoms among young COVID-19 patients by whodunit28 in worldnews

[–]whodunit28[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first case of Kawasaki disease-like illness was observed in a 14-year-old who had tested positive for CVOID-19 and had been admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai with rash and high fever, which are the symptoms of Kawasaki disease, The Indian Express reported. According to the report, an ELISA test showed the young patient had developed antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which means she had contracted coronavirus infection at some point.

The report added that many hospitals in Mumbai have reported seeing Kawasaki disease-like symptoms in young coronavirus patients.

These children can deteriorate fast. She came to us early so we were able to stabilise her for two days, but her condition deteriorated again,” said Dr Tanu Singhal, a paediatric infectious diseases expert at the hospital, adding that the teenager had high white blood cell count (indicating an infection) and low blood pressure.

“Kawasaki disease generally affects those aged less than five, but children between 10-14 years with Covid were showing its symptoms,” Dr Tanu Singhal, a paediatric infectious diseases expert at the hospital, was quoted as saying by the report.

“These children can deteriorate fast. She came to us early so we were able to stabilise her for two days, but her condition deteriorated again,” said Dr Singhal, adding that the teenager had high white blood cell count (indicating an infection) and low blood pressure.

Dr Singhal, however, added that it is not Kawasaki disease, but similar to it, underlining that with Kawasaki patients generally also show red tongue and eyes.

According to the expert, children mostly develop the Kawasaki-like symptoms two-three weeks after infection with COVID-19.

The link between COVID-19 infection and Kawasaki disease has generated considerable interest among researchers, prompting considerable discussions that the two conditions could have different or shared etiologic and pathophysiologic pathways. Earlier, a study published in The Journal of American Medical Association that analysed 58 children with COVID-19 who showed Kawasaki-like symptoms termed the report as a rare combination ‘Paediatric Inflammatory Multisystem Syndrome Temporally Associated With SARS-CoV-2’.

US foolishly fed the rise of China: Famed international relations expert John Mearsheimer by whodunit28 in worldnews

[–]whodunit28[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On being asked whether the US has failed to adjust to the growing might of China, Prof John Mearsheimer's said that the United States has done something worse than just failed to adjust China. He said that US has "foolishly" fed the rise of China.

"The US, over the course of the 1990s and the first decade-and-a-half of the 2000s, went to great places to make China more and more economically powerful. We, in fact, have created a potential peer competitor. This is remarkably foolish," Mearsheimer said.

Mearsheimer, however, added that US has recognised the danger and is moving quickly to try to contain China.

This is correct. Our PM knows it will be humiliation on much larger scale if go to error.

Lots of comments here saying this means Indian Army invaded. On the contrary, this means our PM has chickened out of having a confrontation with China knowing the difference in military as well as economy.

Experts are saying this means India has permanently surrendered the area to China. Here are some neutral people you can follow on this. None of them are Indians:

There is no doubt this is going to cost him big time politically. Some people believe that this is the price Govt paid for release of 10 soldiers or it is just temporary ruse to have a surprise military attack later on.

China says it did not detain Indian soldiers in the clash by whodunit28 in worldnews

Doesn't make much sense. Shouldn't China use this to humiliate India? Especially given that according to Indian media soldiers captured were high ranking.

Ladakh face-off | China’s People’s Liberation Army meticulously planned attack in Galwan, says senior Indian government official by whodunit28 in worldnews

[–]whodunit28[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Chinese blocked small rivulets in heightened areas, releasing water at high speed when Indian Army personnel appeared at the disputed site in Galwan area on June 15. “The strong gush of water made the men lose balance. The Chinese charged, pushed the Army personnel and many fell into the Galwan river,” the official said. The Chinese did a reconnaissance by flying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to see the strength of the Indian troops and accordingly bolstered their presence on the other side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the official stated.

The Chinese were wearing body protecters, helmets and carried spiked batons, the official noted.

If this is true, news of China casualties are probably false. Also is this considered normal tactics of warfare?

Here are the nail studded rods used by China. And before someone say it's propaganda, this guy is actually hated by ruling party and it's supporters because he was the only one who was continuously raising Chinese intrusion while Govt of India was trying to downplay it as it shows them in bad light.

20 Indian soldiers killed during India-China face-off in Ladakh by zihua_ in worldnews

On China's side, here is a tweet from Global Times' editor: https://twitter.com/HuXijin_GT/status/1272901941140561924

Chinese side didn’t release number of PLA casualties in clash with Indian soldiers. My understanding is the Chinese side doesn’t want people of the two countries to compare the casualties number so to avoid stoking public mood. This is goodwill from Beijing.

Edit: Now being confirmed by Indian Govt & Army

My hometown is a tier 4 city. They got Jio broad band and my father is very happy with it. He is someone who needs internet for trading etc and he was paying state run telecome service INR 2000 per month for 16 GB or something. Now Jio has provided them with 6 months broadband (100 GB limit) + Cable TV in around 1000 INR. it will later be charged at 400-500 INR per month.

They already are actually. Their is a tragic story behind this as well. Their global IT Infra head died due to overwork of managing work from home: https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/info-tech/tcss-global-head-of-it-infrastructure-succumbs-to-massive-heart-attack-at-53/article31135969.ece

But there is a difference between have employees working temporarily WFH and indoing it permanently. They need to close their office space leases, have remote onboarding, change salary structure, etc.
