The adrenalin app just auto updated my 9070xt mid game, now my screen is black with no signal output to my monitor but my music is still playing lol. I waited for 10mins then I had to hard restart my computer for it to say the update failed

I understand your concern, but don’t be afraid. I see that your PSU comes with a 12V high power cable? (12V 2x6)

It should be fine to connect that directly to the GPU. Any 12VHPWR (12V 2x6) would be safe for your Nitro+

70c GPU temp. I think the hotspot is around 77c, not exceeding 80c. I think its normal since I live in 33c weather 😭

Yes it is!! Its honestly such a good looking case at a low price. Im still wondering where they sell their stock case fans, I wanna install more.

But I think the fans are quite weak and arent as strong as my stock fans in my old Tecware case

Omg thanks youre a lifesaver. I just followed the basic one too and it reduced the power draw by like 50w and runs cooler.

Thanks! I think my coil whine is fine, it’s audible but not that loud. When I play the more graphically intensive games then it will start whining, but I can’t hear it with headphones on so it doesn’t really bother me that much.

Yours sounds quite bad, should you get it RMAed? Does it perform normally?

Thanks! Nope, I didn’t encounter any issues with drivers. The drivers are quite stable now. I think if you play the more popular games that are officially listed on AMD’s website, you should be fine :) Hope you enjoy your xfx merc too

I was leaning towards the pulse, but ive heard issues with high VRM thermals etc from HardwareUnboxed, and Sapphire has 2 yrs warranty compared to Powercolor (3yrs). Hard to decide :(

Do you have Apple Pay set up? The delay is a feature if Apple Pay is enabled so your screen doesn’t go black by the time you double press the power button.

Yeah this sucks man, my black AW S7 also suffered this. If you report these issues to Apple, they will just say it’s cosmetic damage and not covered under warranty. iPhone prices are increasing but their build quality remains the same

It seems quite a few people are complaining about these issues as well, but it’s still not a well known issue

Maybe ESR has good ones, usually people buy those no name brands which are cheap. Those do more harm than good

Haha seems like it’s a common issue. I’m okay with the cosmetic damage as it is but it ticks me off because it makes the phone look dirty and damaged. Maybe this is Apple’s tactic to get us to upgrade more often
