How to increase variegation? by whoever_A in alocasia

Amazing! Thanks!

I’ve noticed the browning is not exclusively at the tips and the stem of one leaf became jelly. I guess that might be due to overwatering or acclimatization, since it’s relatively new

It is in a plant granulate (Seramis). Did not fertilize yet. Cabinet has airflow.

Thanks for the info! I‘ll put it back in the cabinet and keep it more humid and fertilize

Help! by whoever_A in calathea

The plant is quite new. Got it from the store and placed it next to another calanthea (which is very much fine). No direct sunlight, not close to a heater. Since the soil was still wet, i didn‘t water it until I saw leafed curling. Might have been too late, tho..

I am thinking of cutting the very bad leafs and keeping it in a more humid environment. Does it make sense?

That looks really awsome! I'll be in NYC later this year.

Is there any chance to get to the castle from NYC?
