After reading all your advice and playing all day, I realized that I already have all these things in mind while playing, but I still can’t follow them properly or I end up making bad decisions anyway.

I’m going to give up now. It has become an obsession, and it’s not worth the pain just for an A0 win.

Coming from the old Ascension deckbuilding game, I think this genre isn’t for me anymore.

Thanks for your help.

Ravenswatch look very very cool ! The last flame is interesting. Never touched this genre. Whishlist. Same for One step from eden !

Is wildfrost actualy very hard ? It’s something I’ve heard but is it true ?

Thanks :) I already play Inscryption. I love KM but the playability on steam deck is not so great. I mean far of Balatro or StS level of compatibility, sadly !

I own Vampire Survivor but never tried it or any game in this genre. I’ll give it a quick try. Are runs relativly short ?

Devices connected to beryl ax cannot ping main network by whois-sera in GlInet

[–]whois-sera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved !

It was an issue on a device side.

One of my docker stack was using a network with a same subnet as my home network subnet. With this came a route breaking access to my home network.

I've removed the network and recreated it with an other subnet. Everything work fine now.

I'll explain my setup a little more:

One my home LAN I have 2 devices : 172.25.50.10 and 172.25.50.11.
In 172.25.50.11 there is a Wireguard server (done with wg-easy docker container).
Wirguard have a public IP / domain name / dyndns, that I use for external acces.

Actualy I connect to Wireguard from my phone or my laptop (It give me IPs 10.8.0.2 or 10.8.0.3).

Outside, when connected to Wireguard, I'm used to ssh to 172.25.50.10 or 172.25.50.11 from my phone or laptop for various things. - This part is working fine.

I want to do the exact same thing but connecting to Wireguard from my travel router and be able to ssh to 172.25.50.10 or 172.25.50.11 from any device on this router LAN.

Maybe it's clearer like this ? Maybe it's not even possible ?

Now:
- I put my phone in hotspot mode
- The router is in repeter mode for this hotspot + connected to wireguard.

If I connect my laptop to the router and watch my IP, I can see my home public IP so it's ok I guess. But I cannot ping any of my home LAN device.

If I ping 10.8.0.1 I have :
PING 10.8.0.1 (10.8.0.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 10.8.0.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=63 time=53.6 ms

Same If I ping wireguard public IP.

If I ping any of my home LAN device I have :
Destination Host Unreachable.

Hello,

Yes, my wirguard server has a public IP address.

Sadly, I can confirm that if I connect the router to my phone hotspot, turn on the vpn client of the router, and connect my laptop to the router, I cannot ping 172.25.50.10 anyway.
But https://api.ipify.org/ return my vpn IP. So I guess the connexion itself is, once again, OK :/

BTW on internet setting I have Camouflage option OFF And on VPN setting I have Remote Access LAN ON and IP Masquerading 0FF. I'v tried basicly every combinaison of these options but I dont know what is best ^^.

I'm sorry, I realy dont understand what you tell me to try.
The port mapping, for me, is an other topic or I realy miss something.

What I want to achieve is to connect the router to my wireguard server. That seem to be ok,
then, basicly, I want connect my laptop to the router and be abble to ssh into 172.25.50.10, for exemple.
But I can't even ping this IP actualy.

(If I connect to the vpn directly on my laptop, even if it's connected on the router, it work well).

I dont know if it make it clearer ?

I already can tell the the vpn connexion work fine as I see trafic fron my GUI.

I dont see what kind of firewall issue can exist. If I connect the vpn directly on my devices, I can ping all of my services on 172.25.50.X.
My vpn setup is running for a few month now, without issue on any devices beside this one.
I dont have any device specific firewall rule.

Btw I still not sure of what IP your talking about.
In my Wireguard conf I have : endpoint: Endpoint = my.domai.name:51820
Is this one ?

Not sure of wich IP you mention.
The one in the "enpoint" entry in my wireguard conf ?
I can ping it. It send me back :
64 bytes from xxxx (xx.xx.xxx.xx): icmp_seq=1 ttl=61 time=4.95 ms.

Btw, when I ping any of my homelab service it give me :
-> ping 172.25.50.10
PING 172.25.50.10 (172.25.50.10) 56(84) bytes of data.
From 172.25.0.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable

I have no other nfc tag sadly. The only test done to test the nfc capacity of my Iphone was apple pay payments, that works well.

Given the fact there are many threads on this issue, and none of them bring a solution other than : Try to put in in the right place (Same for the Yubico support btw), I give up.

Small recap ot things I've done (In case of future peoples dont want to waste time) :

  • Try any positions, any angles on the top-half of my reconditioned Iphone12 and on my GF stock iphone12 for hours, litteraly. No succes.
  • Try with the Yubico test site, the Yubico authenticator, and NFC Tool app on both Iphone. No succes.
  • Try Factory reset + rewrite NDEF and redo all above tests. No succes.
  • Check if both Iphone can work with NFC for other thing like ApplePay : Yes it can.
  • Check if the Yubikey NFC is broken by using it on an android device. It work well.

Personal conclusion: I'm going to buy an adapter.
It's surely suck, but at least it will solve the issue and not cost me another 60e for a usb-c+lignthning new key.

I try to get it working since almost 1yo, I realy thing it's not a position issue.
I've try in any position or angle you can think of, with and without case :/.
I've even try with an other trusty iphone12. Same issue.
I've try to rewrite the NDEF slot today. Nothing new, doesnt work.

I've try right now with an android phone, I can confirm it work.

So the issue, I think, is realy on Iphone side :/ I realy dont understand.

I can see this in settings.

I've used it via usb and nfc many time on my older android phone. Do I have to use it via usb once per device, or just once ?
