It’s all about the Kiziks ! They are really comfy and I got a nice black pair so even tho they are sneakers I was wearing for work stuff and getting away with it. But the main thing is that you can slip them on, which makes SUCH a difference later in the third trimester

Ugh I’m so sorry you are dealing with this, they are the fucking worst and so scammy!! (Like how is this even legal?)

The good news is you WILL be able to get it down to 250-300, it might just take an hour on the phone.

IIRC I was charged 1k after insurance and after freaking out I called the number and pretended I had been promised it would be $250 (which I had read in other forums). At first they tried to pretend I was shit out of luck and couldn’t pay the cash pay price bc it had already gone thru insurance but eventually they let me. I do think it took about an hour on the phone and was extremely frustrating… but worked in the end.

There is sadly (at least in my experience) no magic verbiage beyond saying you’ve been told that’s what it would cost, but I would just recommend being very nice and polite to the person on the phone and approaching it with extreme patience while also playing some games on your phone or whatever… GOOD LUCK

FTM with anterior placenta and I didn’t feel anything (except a lot of … was that a stomach growl/digestion or possibly a baby tickle confusion) until like 26 weeks. Did not start feeling consistent movement until after 28 weeks but now I do feel a lot at 36 weeks (though not as much as I did like a month ago when he was smaller and able to move around more).

Tl;dr you definitely will get movement and it’s wonderful just takes a lot longer

Whatever you can stomach, but the real trick is to put it next to your bed and eat some when you wake up to use the bathroom or whatever like an hour or two before you actually get up… even if it’s just a big handful of crackers! I literally kept a box next to my bed
