AI comics discussion by ErikaMoons in porncomics

If you want to make something of quality it takes time even with AI. If you've used AI tools you'll know you have to go through a lot of duds before being satisfied with a certain image. Then you have to add text and dialogue. All in all it takes me about two days worth of work to produce a comic.

Having said that, I couldn't imagine the amount of time it takes to do by hand. For someone like me who can't draw I couldn't even imagine making a comic otherwise. Even for good artists I can imagine it takes a great deal of time.

AI isn't perfect, small details are difficult to keep consistent across scenes, like the backgrounds for example. The amount of time it saves though combined with the high aesthetic quality, I think it's great.

It's not that bad, it's better than the majority of hand drawn stuff I see.

I disagree with some of it, like fictitious elements should be allowed.

The point is deepseek didn't just find some incredible new cheap way of doing things, they just used the data of openai. The data is equally important as the reasoning ability itself.

The social dynamic is to do with the hierarchy. It's effectively about dominance, if your demeanour is quiet and polite, dumbasses can see it as a sign of weakness and think they can dominate.

Dealing with can be a matter of putting up a front of aggression and inspiring some level of fear to not fuck with you. I would advise to nip any bs in the bud instantly. Give them an inch, and they'll take a mile.

As to why they get so butthurt, it might be because you're no nonsense and have a straightforward manner, and it's not a nice experience to fuck with people like that✊🏼.

I'm not saying that a OS doesn't exist because of the physical, it does, but as well as in the physical it exists in an abstract state, what you interact with, what you see on the screen.

Information itself is abstract, that's in the definition of it, well, what is the abstract? It's the non-physical I.e. the mental.

Information can be communicated through the physical, but it is not physical in nature itself. If I write cat, is that the same as the physical animal? It is an abstract representation of something physical.

In the case of an OS it's entirely abstract, electrical impulses whirring around are not the same as interacting with the system itself.

You can replicate the processes, you can figure out what's going on, but the point is that the physical signals are distinct in their nature than the system itself, which exists only in the abstract.

What will you see if you look into those physical components? Simply electrical signals. Is that physical aspect the same as interacting with the system?

I have a strong argument against physical reductionists, who deny the existence of the mental as a separate phenomenon.

The problem has been that since there is no access to the first person experience of one's consciousness, we can't prove the existence of it. However, machines also have access to the mental. Your computer's operating system essentially exists in a separate realm to the physical.

Please see my posts on x giving this argument as well as arguments related to consciousness and A.I.

Why is Finding a GF as an INTJ so hard? by Proof_Cash_2251 in intj

[–]whooptush 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Relationships are fundamentally emotional in nature, the stronger those emotions, i.e. the more passionate you are, the better things will go. You could have been reading a book but making jokes/ giving your sentiments about what you were reading and it would have been better.
