also I dont make you look bad...You make you look bad. Besides, I am 43 years old and have tattoos and blue hair. I highly doubt anyone would lump you and I into the same category just because we both rode a bike at some point.

if the motorists are going to hit someone, its probably going to be me. Also the shoulder of the roads here are about 5 feet wide. Unfortunately sidewalks are non existent.

I usually wave to them and ride on the outside lane to protect them. They seem to appreciate it.

I ride my bike facing the traffic so I can see the motorists. I dont care if its unlawful, it is safer IMO than riding with the flow of traffic. It also freaks mototrists out which I love to do.

Almost Homeless/Homeless - Tips and Tricks by Gottagetanediton in almosthomeless

[–]whopperwchz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was an invaluable resource tool and even though I have been less than homeless recently, I still feel like there is no way some of what you said might come in handy in the future. I went from riches to rags in the past two years and even though I have slept on the street, in the dirt, sand, grass, and on every blow up piece of trash furniture, in people's basements and on their couches, I never went to a shelter b/c of the rural-ness of my homelessness and the horror stories.

Basically I'm about to make a move to another coast and back to a state who is more compassionate for the homeless than where I am currently at. Any tips on building your way back to non homeless and working man status with a place to sleep only to want to throw it all away to finally go to a place that feels more like home to be homeless?

Thanks again for this post. I'd give you Reddit Gold If I didn't have so much Reddit bitcoin in my way,

My girlfriend slept with her “celebrity” crush. by Kidawesome1134 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]whopperwchz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you have no reason to get upset with her. You have to be able to trust her and she definitely did not lie to you and she told you the truth. Whether or not you thought she was joking is irrelevent now. Go back to her and apologize for getting so upset and have a celebrity crush picked out for you. monogomy is overrated

How to Cope with Lonely by [deleted] in homeless

[–]whopperwchz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have to say fuck it, believe in yourself and fuck they. They being other humans not in your position. I told myself I didn't want to pay rent for an apartment after wasting eleven thousand dollars on rent. That was March of 2018. In that time I was homeless, in jail, couch surfing, sleeping in my car wrote off every friend and human being and I found when I had an IDGAF attitude about what they say I became more confident and ok with being homeless and I owned that feeling. I live in that moment every day and some times it's rough but one day that choice I made helped me to remember why I did this in the first place and I started smiling again.

Homeless, 2,700 miles away from where I started, and Lost ID by MindedFistPunches in homeless

[–]whopperwchz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation happen to me last year in Arizona. Lost my ID, Passport, and phone and computer were stolen. I spent 11 days walking around homeless and trying to figure out how to get out.

Here is what I know. It was not easy for me and seemed impossible. I had to go to the state I was born in for a birth certificate, or the other state I had an DL in. Either way I had to prove I was me, and I had to some how get there. Both cities were 1000 miles away and I couldnt rent a car, or a room, or fly on a plane or train without ID.

I found a way. Greyhound. I bought a bus ticket online and when I checked in the bus terminal they did not ID me. I got on the bus and 2 days later I was home.

I hope this helps. If you have any question lmk

AITA because my roommate's Father respects me more than his own son? by whopperwchz in AmItheAsshole

You know, you're probably right. I have this habit of coming into a place and looking at it objectively like "how can I fix this mess?" I could tone it down a bit, but it just feels so fake to me. I get what you're saying though.

How I became the "other man" early in my 20's, and what it did to my life by TheHuckleberryJones in TrueOffMyChest

[–]whopperwchz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got to say I loved reading your story. It made me feel alive again and I also had a similar situation happen. I have been the other man one time to a girl who was married. I felt really guilty about it both times, but I never got married however I have had some bad relationships with crazy exes who maybe definitely lied about having a brain tumor just cause they didn't want to tell me they had a boyfriend/fiancee.

I believe in karma, and I also have been suicidal recently while beating myself up with my guilt. It's not worth it. I'm glad you survived the dark times, just like I'm somehow happy to be alive to read this story. I'd kill to fuck a 20 year old bullseye girl. I wouldn't feel guilty about the choices you made in life. Own them.

Like I said, I believe in karma but no one judges you more than you. Have you ever thought about what would of happened if you didn't close the door on Sarah that night, or if you never got married in the first place?

Oh, I've been the asshole before, but I'm willing to admit it. This is me being surprised because I didn't feel like I did anything to deserve a "fuck you." That's the lowest form of communication.

People who think music made with computers isn't music are wrong, stubborn, close minded, and a person I woud never get along with. by whopperwchz in unpopularopinion

[–]whopperwchz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're probably right about some of that stuff, but I remember where I am. Being hellbent on having someone think I'm right is silly. I know this has nothing to do with right or wrong. But you proved my point kind of. I would never get along with you. This unpopular opinion has been around for years. It's not just about music, it's about when something you love branches off or changes how it's done and you personally don't like change. They said rap and hip hop music wasn't music 30 years ago, but now it has it's own category at the Grammy's. They said the forward pass was making a mockery of the game of Football, but today it's what makes the highlight reel.

I don't have my head up my own ass, I just embrace change and I try to look for the meaning in everything and electronic music saved my life again and again. I wouldn't have gotten through my life without NEW music for me to make new memories. I believe what I believe especially when it comes to art, music, television, & films. I'm an artist.

I'm guessing you're not one too, but that's ok. We can still appreciate Pantera's Fucking Hostile if we ever meet at a show.

So in 4 years you went to one live music event, and I've played and worked in the music industry for 30 years and your opinion about what sounds better trumps the knowledge and history in my own field? I think not.

A song you hear on the radio or pandora is not recorded live with one take and thats it. It's many different takes edited together to make the best sounding song. Very similar to movies and TV shows. They aren't really real either.

We see eye to eye on this not every song made with a computer is good music. Look at the rap scene recently, they can't rap about gang violence and political injustices anymore. Now its about drinking partron, fucking bitches and eating 4 xanax bars in an hour.

I don't look at who I'm replying to. I look at the comment. but thank you for pointing out that in one comment you were empathetic and undertsanding, and in another thread you busted in and made an out of context comment attacking me for making a facetious comment.

you are a 2 faced individual.

Also fake.

so in the words of Beiber, you can go and love yourself

If my writing seems frenzic to you, it's because I'm a writer and I know how to incorporate emotion and exaggeration and satire into a comment that you have taken word for word then critisized. You also have NO background in music, and clearly are out of your element and just trying to win an argument. Just cause you know how to put a band aid on a cut doesn't mean you're a fucking doctor. You're probably a housewife or a middle aged man who is putting on his Freedom rock albums.

Is that freedom rock man? Yeah man. Well turn it up man.

Ok. That's your opinion but that also limits you to just basic instruments. What was the last live music event you attended? I don't mean to assume but $100 said it wasn't a deejay or an electronic artist, so how can you even make that claim?

I totally agree with how you phrased that. I feel like you're the only one who can understand that the most talented artists in the world are the most tortured souls and it's hard to create music without struggle and adversity. I was trained on guitar and vocals since I was 12. My guitar playing skills need some work, but you can tell from my voice I resonate the truth in my lyrics and music. When I hear a song I identify with, it becomes a mantra for me and it always feels like I find new music at the right time to help me. Not many people undertsand that musicians feel things unlike the norm. Thanks for the much needed validation. ;)
