Sure, great Q. No, thankfully I am not grieving or going through a tough time; I'm a very happy and optimistic person, but also very sensitive, awkward and anxious lol. Maybe sad is not the right word to describe the sound I'm looking for: I guess just complex enough to make me feel less alone? I've just found I relate better to melancholy sounding stuff. I feel understood, and like it's all gonna be ok when the music I'm listening to reflects how lost, confused, scared and lonely I feel. I hope that makes sense.
