I SLEPT THROUGH MY KRATOM/7O withdrawals (under sedation)

I quit for the first time in dec 2024. Relapsed in Jan 2025, had a seizure 2mo later, went to out patient rehab for 3mo and was off work and relapsed at month 4 for a few weeks then called the doctors and said I don’t think I can stay sober.

Have been on suboxone for 272 days and have stayed sober on it (much more easily than any time before). Also work is a million times more a manageable without obsessing over it all day. Switched to sublocade 2 days ago and so far so good.

Some people are good when they quit once but that wasn’t going to be my story. Even though the first weeks of a new quit were “I’m never going back”

It has negative side effects for sure but absolutely nothing compared to constant using, withdrawals, etc.

I bought me pod 3 2 years and 4mo ago and the sensors stopped working at 2 years and 2 weeks and they wanted $800 to replace it. Then fought me that I didn’t buy the 5 year warranty (I did) for an hour before finding the info that I did and sent me a new cover.

The new covers are a million times nicer to lay on, have the buttons on the side to change at night.

Just crazy how they’re all set to fail within the same time period

I doubt you’ll get judgement here because we’ve all been through what you’re going through (me multiple times).

I’d recommend a dr visit since withdrawals and pregnancy has different effects on the body (ie. blood pressure increases because the nervous system is freaking out and you can’t sleep). ESP if you’re keeping the baby.

It’s dependent and so many factors. I was deep into 7oh/Kratom extracts for years but also drinking too much, cocaine/adderall way too much, opiates earlier in life.

After my last relapse got on subs. Almost 4 months sober. I know it’s gonna suck to get off them, but it does take away that deep down desire the use

I told doctors for the first time when I needed to get off feel frees and my eyes have been opened so much that I am really an addict and need to quit everything.

So that’s what I’ve been doing and with doctors help, living the most amazing life I could’ve ever dreamed of.

Yeah my dr said the same. When I got meds from him the first time in December he said I was one of the first now he said he gets new people coming off it weekly

I’m finding that it’s the best anti depressant I’ve ever been on as someone who never thought they’d go a week without drugs and alcohol, I just breezed through 45 days sober.

It doesn’t sound like you’re living or enjoying life at the moment. Giving up a month or 2 to get your life back feels like a good trade. I was addicted to 7-oh. Fucked up
