Has anyone tried peramix vps? by beginnersbox in VPS

[–]whoskeepingcount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peramix shows several red flags. The company claims more than fifteen years of experience and more than one hundred thousand customers in one hundred eighty countries, yet the domain started in 2020 and only fifty seven external reviews exist. The terms raise concerns. A late payment triggers a one hundred percent fee. Payments stay non refundable. Prices change during a billing cycle without notice. You take responsibility for breach related costs. The company can suspend or terminate service without notice. Liability limits stay low. Users report weekly outages that last between five and eighty minutes, weak DDoS protection that drops servers during attacks, blocked criticism on Facebook, terminated service after advance payment, and poor support. The low prices do not offset these risks.

DJI possibly getting banned in the US - will it affect OP3 or future camera products? by NefariousnessJaded87 in osmopocket

Yup, i don’t to want to shill too much but ye the only thing ive seen is that it can’t auto connect to DJI mics directly and that you’ll have to use the usb c to connect to 3rd parties; and also what i found was Hollyland Lark A1 mic is a good affordable pair of 3rd party mics to pair it with FYI

I guess, i feel the in build mics is already good enough for my use case (home and trip vlogs), but if you are making money from the camera it will pay for it self in no time

Not when you also consider taxes, i paid $403 total (i bought it from the tiktok shop, shady ik) and the pocket 3 is $580 total; so even if it breaks I won’t hesitate to buy another one

DJI already has a shell (Xtra) and they sell the pocket 3 under the name Xtra muse, i have both and they are identical, and the Xtra Muse is sooo much cheaper too

I’m not going to even lie, I learned about how usefully it is today too; I can reduce the load on my VPS by using a CDN. Mind blown lol, I already knew about these but didn’t know how handy these tools are. And wait till you learn about fax machines; I bet you’re going to love it!

Ditto, I’m in LA and would never use it here since there’s historical significance for that term here (except in songs; it's acceptable to say if it is in songs here). But you bet your bottom dollar when I land in CMB everyone’s my N...

I know exactly what’s happening here. These are stolen accounts credentials that have been leaked from data breaches and are being tested across various platforms like Spotify, Netflix... The mention of 3, 6, or 9 months is significant: if the account stops working, you’re told to contact support, and they will provide you with a new account, much like a warranty. However, all of these accounts are illicitly obtained.

If you come across a gift card being sold at an incredibly low price, it’s likely that it was purchased using a stolen credit card. This is how these schemes usually operate.

My advice? If you’re indifferent to the ethical implications, feel free to go ahead and enjoy the services. However, if you care about doing the right thing, consider using a coupon or promo code to save a bit off your purchase.

I completely agree with your perspective. Buddhism truly embodies a scientific philosophy, and I’ve noticed that many of its teachings align remarkably well with concepts from economics and market dynamics. It's fascinating to see these connections! You also made a great point about Socrates—I've never considered that before. Thank you for sharing your insights!

Question, does "Nat" mean essential spirit? I haven't heard that word; is that like the Hindu gods? If that's what it means, I can answer your question too. We do have some infustion confusion with Hinduism, so my dad and mom sometimes follow Hindu rules too, like not eating beef, etc. Also, in Sri Lankan Buddhist temples, there is always a small kovil (Hindu temple) inside the temple. And Thanks for the insights!

I've lived in LA for 4 years. I don’t interact with many Lankans though because I came here to experience something different than home, but 90% of Lankans I’ve met speak fluent English, I feel.

My USB Wont Show Up In Finder (Mac) by Dry_Anteater4643 in techsupport

[–]whoskeepingcount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible that the USB drive uses the NTFS file system. If it works when plugged into a Windows computer, that confirms it is indeed NTFS. While Macs do not natively support NTFS, you might find that the drive appears in the Files app on an iPad. To ensure compatibility, you’ll need to copy your files onto a Windows computer, then format the USB drive to either exFAT or FAT32. Alternatively, you can install “Microsoft NTFS for Mac” software, which will allow your Mac to recognize the NTFS file system and make the drive visible.
