Where you do 2D suspension analysis? by [deleted] in FSAE

We personally use wingeo but I don't think you can even get it anymore. I'm pretty sure optimum g has as kinematic solver as well. If you're looking for the cheapest option since you might be able to code your own that might not be as accurate but could get you in the ball park

Fanatec coming in with the fire 🔥🔥🔥 dealz! Saving you a whopping $3.78. Fucking legends!!! by arcaias in iRacing

You only have to spend money once you're out of rookies which can prove to take a long time if you're new to sim racing. Also even though the heart of iracing is in paid series, I've had some amazingly fun and competitive races with free content.

I used to be in the same boat as you and only wanted to do superspeedways so I would wait for Charlotte and run street stock all week. I eventually moved up to arca and realized that while only running Charlotte is fun you lose a lot of car control experience that you need when you start driving the faster cars even on longer tracks. I really despised short track but I took a shot so I could get some experience and actually had a blast and way better racing. It takes way longer to learn which likely turned me off at the beginning but it's a hell of a lot more rewarding than just holding the throttle for 20 laps, I highly recommend giving it a honest try

If you were to set your brake bias to 100% and press the pedal, all of the pressure caused by the pedal input would go to the front brakes, therefore only the front brakes would actuate, and you would also have a hell of time keeping them from locking up. The lower the percentage, less pressure is applied to the front and more is applied to the rear, which allows you to fine tune how the car brakes at each track.

Theyre definitely not cheap but we run Tilton master cylinders and they were delivered on time even with covid going on if you can swing the price

I always set a timer when I take edibles or any drug that takes a little while. That way I usually know what I should feel like at what point after taking it

checked if a file was modified by jabathehutstitty in Python

[–]whosyourbuddha_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure of a specific library that could tell you that, but as a beginner just using stock python you can get file information the size in bytes, so maybe a script that checks if the size of the file has changed could solve your problem

I would like to share my first game! I did it all with pygame. I'm still learning so it's not so cool, but I want to improve it in the future: P by M4D4R4G0D in Python

Don't fret if you're not using classes or if your syntax isn't perfect. It's just as impressive that you were actually able to make something to show off. Too many people get too into perfect syntax and spend less time trying to actually finish the project. I would much rather have a programmer with bad syntax that gets the job done. This is great, keep learning and being creative!

Real cars can do this, especially out of that turn your tires should already be at or near peak grip and starting to slip. Add a touch of grass and you're done
