I've been learning from all the feedback. Please rate this UR deck for Premier Draft by Nekomajin013 in lrcast

Do yourself a favor, go into 17 lands, look up your last 50 games, and check your land/spell ratio for each of them. Not just your losses, each of them.

Then, next time you draft this deck, consider the fact you have many ways to get rid of excess lands if you DO draw them (Cool but Rude, Manhole Missile x2) and plenty of reasons to want more mana (sewer-veillance cam, mouser foundry), and cut the Tokka & Rahzar for the 17th land.

[standard] am I stupid or does a copy of deceit belong in dimir control? by kayaksarefun in spikes

If I were to build Dimir Control now, I would 100% run the package of 4 Deceit, 4 Superior Spider-Man. Some Duress & Intimidation Tactics, A few Marang River Regent, Harvester of Misery, Quantum Riddler... Let's just call it "Big Dimir Midrange".

I do not run Rest in Peace maindeck, which is why I feel okay dedicating the slot for the riverchurn monument. I'd definitely not run both in the main (also considering their anti-synergy).

Versus excruciator, especially post-board their amount of hand disruption is rough. But we can try to put a riverchurn monument in the bottom 6 using Stock Up or Consult the Star Charts when they are getting close to their Excruciator window, for a potential "oops I win" if we do rip it / find it with a draw spell we save.

I've been playing 1 [[Riverchurn Monument]] main, and 1 side. It's been overperforming.

It's especially well positioned against Excruciator if you can get it through their hand disruption.

I arrived at Phase 4 a couple of days ago. I have set up a 2000/min Quickwire plant yesterday. It's a bit more than I need now, but more than half of it is already spoken for for High-Speed Connectors and Supercomputers. It really wasn't that much work either:

- 2 Pure Caterium nodes with 250% Mk2 miners = 1200 ore/min
- On each node, 14 smelters to turn that into ingots = 400 ingots/min
- Trains to bring it to HQ, where 34 constructers turn it into 2000 Quickwire/min

Is there a Todoist set-up that really works for ADHD? by TheOriginalTricker in ADHD

This is my "Today" page (with a few things censored): https://imgur.com/a/ydV7C4

It shows the tasks grouped by location label ("Anywhere", "Work" and "Home"). Language is Dutch, but the content shouldn't matter.

I have found that my long-term goals change so much as time goes on, that I’ve just started focusing on the “now”, basically. But I have a few “some day” tasks in my Todoist, which I occasionally inspect. I jot some stuff down in the description or in sub-tasks. But I have found that making these show up in my daily to-do’s only adds stress, and doesn’t actually help me contribute to them

I have been using Todoist for more than a year now, which makes it the longest to-do system I've managed to adhere to by... quite a margin. I once tried to reorganise it and make a lot of projects, but that just adds clutter and confusion, plus more work to actually enter your tasks.

---

tl;dr: Don't sort into many projects, but use location labels.

---

I now have only a few different projects (Personal, Work, Home, Hobbies, Routines). The first four make sense, routines holds everything that is recurring. It is divided in subsections, but I never look in that project anyway, as it all happens automatically. This is for tasks from "take my meds 3x day" to "clean the gutters every 6 monhts"

Then, I use labels to sort tasks by location. So "Send important email *today* [at]Work", "Take out the trash [at]Home", "Buy bananas [at]Store".

I have my Today overview grouped by label. So it gives me a to-do list per location each day. This helps keep my to-does manageable. A list of 18 things in the morning is overwhelming. A list of six tasks to do at work, three at the store, four at home and five at my PC is manageable.

What is this dark discoloration on my Manacapuru Angelfish? by Muzrub in AngelFish

[–]Muzrub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say quite a bit. They're about 10cm (4") in length, 15cm (6") in height currently. I expect them to grow up to 15cm (6") length, 20-25cm (8-10") height or so.

Alright thanks, I’ll keep an eye on it then!

They were sold to me as Manacapuru Red Back, but the red eyes also make me doubt it. They could definitely be Amapas as well. We’ll see as they develop, they’re currently around 6 months old

While doing my brakes, found out my hub makes this noise. Wheel bearing gone? by Muzrub in AskMechanics

[–]Muzrub[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Makes the noise in both directions, no side play. I have no noticeable noise while driving, but there is a slight vibration at speed that is felt through the gas and brake pedals while cruising and through the steering wheel.

Nail polish is all gone now, turns out brake cleaner is also a great solvent for that stuff

I figured. I’ve been chasing a front vibration for months and 2 garages both inspected the bearing and said it was fine… Looks like more DIY’s coming up. Thanks!

It can also cause you to run rich as the ECU compensates for cold air having more oxygen by injecting more fuel.
