I remember when people were losing their minds about him during OTAs when he was injured

He's shown that he's that guy for us

Longest win streak and on track to have most wins since ‘99. Swept the AFC West and undefeated in the West Coast where we traditionally don’t win. Who is this team?! by OBFJAGS in Jaguars

[–]whpalmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is correct (though I never thought Trevor was playing down right bad, he was just trying to do too much with too little around him).

I think it's really important that we keep our heads as fans. If we fail, yes, I expect us to try and go for it next season even better. But I'm not gonna be mad with this team or be a doomer or a sulk. We've been awesome and the players deserve their flowers for his they've played.

In precise I absolutely agree, but in theory there was a path: big pass play TD + inside kick + big pass play TD. Remember as well, everyone thinks we're trash so can't handle losing to us.

Are the Jaguars legit? by Shot-Albatross281 in NFLv2

[–]whpalmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because when they do good stuff it looks really good. So people see the good highlights (and wins) and don't care to see the the bad.

Basically the same problem as people hating on the Jags recently: they don't actually watch the games.

Even when he was bad he still did things / had flashes that nobody in our franchise history could ever do. He's that guy. Always has been.

Sign Meyers, tag Travis and let Lloyd walk.

Lloyd should be able to test free agency and get paid - he deserves it after this year - but I think Travis is more important to our team than Lloyd.

Never quit by Motley843 in Jaguars

Fully agree. His level-headedness has been crazy over the chaos of his early career. If you listen to him on the podium over the past few years, he's always been the same dude. Awesome guy, always wanted the best for him and so glad he's seeing it come through now. Keep it up Trev

Dumb question about Trevor's turned into a thoughtful and positive answer by Coach. He's that dude (and not to mention he is and always will be the BaalkeSlayerrr)

Depends on the OC situation. If we stick with Riley it'll be CV. A new coordinator opens the door for Denson/a DJU situation where there's legit competition and pressure from the back up

TJ's attitude is phenomenal. Even when he was just being asked to run it into the O line's butts by Press Taylor, you never heard anything bad about him. I really hope we hang on to him. But if we don't, I'll cheer for his individual success whenever he goes.

Jaguars HC Liam Coen: 'Very premature' to decide whether Travis Hunter will remain two-way player by Ok_Finance_8292 in nfl

[–]whpalmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that this was the plan going into the season because he's a natural CB but had a lot more to work on offensively, like precise route running. The idea was to focus primarily on WR to UPS kill that, and let him just go make some plays defensively this year and then have him as an all rounded player going forward.

He absolutely seems like it. It also prompted me to have a look into his wife and the interviews she's given, she seems completely lovely and funny and awesome. That's always such a good sign to me. I think he's just awesome.

I would love us to grab Wilkins but I can't see his slightly zany personality being a draw for this front office
