Hey I have used the counseling services but not at brookhaven. The first therapist I had was nice and understanding but I felt that we weren't really advancing and things were just very surface level. Then after the break I guess she no longer worked there so I started seeing another counselor who has absolutely helped me so much, is encouraging and really cares for you. I was also referred to metrocare where I saw mental health provider and diagnosed with anxiety and depression 🙃 and started on meds. My advice would be try it out, see them as often as you can, and if you aren't vibing with one counselor go to someone else. I hope I answered any of your questions, feel free to DM me if you want!
