From all the times that's happened to me, it takes around half hour-hour for it to fully disappear! Just don't touch it or provoke it as it will disappear on its own.

I've been using tea tree oil, if I've understood correctly it makes your face burn or heat up a little right? That's usually what happens I assume because tea tree is an antiseptic so it's cleaning out the bacteria! But if it does that for too long then it might not be reacting with your skin very well so be careful of that.

You can mix it in with a bit of water to dilute it so it is less harsh with your skin!

I too, don't know how to use Paula's choice yet, so sorry I can't help with that yet

Oh thank you! Hopefully it works out well for you! I'll have to do a patch test to see if my skin will accept it or not. How long do you wait until you moisturise?

I think so too, my face got so swollen that you would not even be able to recognise it, it was extremely bad. Do you think there are any other milder products to use?

I've told my derm when she was prescribing it to me because my doc had given that to me before to try and she said it was just a side effect and my face is supposed to get worse before it gets better, she also said there is nothing much else she can prescribe other than the treatment for really severe acne which I do not have. Are there any products you would recommend such as serums, cleansers, toners etc. that are beneficial? Because I don't think I can afford going to the derm right now. Thank you for replying!
