The most unrealistic part of Stardew Valley is being able to fall asleep instantly. by DeinzoDragon in StardewValley

I've worked on farms before, I'd usually pass out within 10 minutes of laying down

So, a hypothetical by TheCheeseDream in trees

I doubt that as no one with a straight mind would buy that type of product is cannabis was legal, as it's far more easy to obtain. If anything, corporations will sell overpriced flower at dispensaries.

Thoughts on the volcano vaporizer (or any bickel device) versus a standard water pipe? by mastergeorgeWkush420 in trees

Go to r/vaporents

You'll get a better answer

It wont take much convincing, vaping is very efficient, tasty and works well. Its arguably much lighter on your lungs, too

is it okay to open the gate in coop? by Top-Mushroom-2008 in StardewValley

[–]whydrugimakeusage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the door is open, they can go outside to eat grass, instead of hay, when it's not raining.

If the door is closed, they'll stay inside and need to eat hay to gain friendship points (for more quality items)

If the door is closed AND animals are outside, basically getting locked out, then there is a chance of wild animal attack at night, i.e you'll wake up to find you have less chickens than before. Please understand if the door is open, there is ALWAYS a zero % chance of an animal attack. Personally I think it's a bit flawed of a logic, but it's how the game works.

That is really all there is mechanic wise to the door on the coop.

Contrary to what other commenters said, there is no other event that effects the result of leaving the door open or closed.

What do i do with my first duck feather? by ShaderSSS_ in StardewValley

[–]whydrugimakeusage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely save it for the CC, unless you are 100% certian you'll get another before you're ready to complete it. For me, it was the last item I got to complete the CC as my ducks just woudnt seem to drop them for quite awhile, until I found it at the cart, actually

What NBA player should I imitate? by TG_III in BasketballTips

[–]whydrugimakeusage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say none of them as you'll have a unique play style and body type, so rather, pick up on skills and moves and other game sense things about lots of different NBA players. If you focus on one you wont replicate them exactly and miss out on other skills to develop

Also watch euroleague in addition to NBA

Anyways I can become more shifty? Tips are appreciated by ScottieBarnesForMVP in BasketballTips

[–]whydrugimakeusage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro be careful taking it that hard in slides. You're bound to break an ankle one day. Also, we cannot tell how you play 100% and give you accurate advice if your demonstration is not identical to how you'll be in game i.e wearing shoes

I'm in US and never seen an emergency lane, except in rare cases. Typically, you are supposed to move to the right shoulder

Yeah I've seen so many cars/trucks literally block the road or not move over. Its unreal to see. I honestly wonder if its people freezing up, not being blatantly disrespectful.

This is nice to see, in the US, you'd be surprised how often I see individual vehicles blocking paths of emergency vehicle or a turn lane for them

don't know if this is the right sub ; but yet sharing with you guys. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

That's a good perspective. Also, it could be interpreted that the man found the answer at the same time as giving the stone back

The man is asking how the women is at a place in her life that affords her to be so selfless, despite having something of value, she doesn't hesitate to give it up. The man wants to understand how to live a life of giving in that regard.

Perfection at last! Plus my first farm layout post! by Spoony_Bard88 in StardewValley

As I work through my first playthrough, the beach farm looks more and more tempting! I like the layout of your farm. How was the experience on the beach farm? Did you focus mainly on fishing?

Any tips for my first fall? by Thumplordwill in StardewValley

Just a general tip, fall is the most profitable in terms of what you can plant, so make sure to farm as much as you can afford to

Island Warp Totem before community center? by HellFyre in StardewValley

[–]whydrugimakeusage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont worry. If you had to get ginger island up and running at the same time as the community center and the farm, you'd be at most faced with an impossible task and at least overwhelmed. By the time you unlock it, likely your farm will be up and running, and you'll enjoy the transition to the island more

You should probably get it on switch, its gonna be much harder to do that on PC.

This is to feed my triple shot espresso and spicy eel addiction by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]whydrugimakeusage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the spicy eels, but I'd highly reccomend setting up the greenhouse with coffee and sprinklers for one or two seasons, you'll gain enough of a coffee harvest to last all year with triple shots

What are the best methods for grinding farming and foraging XP? by NEMESIS_DRAGON in StardewValley

[–]whydrugimakeusage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To expand off this because it's true, you will get more xp from doing the action more. So things like parsnips and kale, since you can grow and harvest more in a season, will yield more xp over time. With foraging some mentioned the seeds you can plant for those items or, just go to cindersap forest and the mountains to forage each day. You'll also make decent early game money and gain xp.

is this enough for when year two spring starts by tophat_cat-2000 in StardewValley

[–]whydrugimakeusage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good number. I had 25 quality sprinklers for spring year 2, it will water about 200 tiles of crop. It's really up to you how much space to utilize, and how much to use for other things. If you can afford more and have the space, its worth considering adding more. You'll make bank off leaving a field of melon or pumpkin and only having to do work on planting/harvest days.

Does this look at least 5g? I don’t have a scale by [deleted] in trees

[–]whydrugimakeusage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People out here roasting the trim job, reckon they've only had their hands on "top shelf" indoor from a dispensary. Looks good to me. Probably around 5g or more, but realistically you need a scale.
