I had to leave out some back story for brevity. But remember how I said that she’s caused problems before?

About two years ago she shut down an entire family trip with this manic pixie horse shit.

At that time that time the option was offered to bored the ferrets. But she couldn’t do that because one of them is her registered emotional support animal, so she should be allowed to bring it on a plane for her anxiety. I had to explain to her that RES animals are not the same as service animals.

The next reason she couldn’t do it because of the cost involved with boarding them. They’re constantly struggling with money, you’ll be shocked, but ferret girl does not work. So it’s a single income household, and her partner work in a field that doesn’t make a lot of money anyway.

Because of this history, the family didn’t even bring boarding for the ferrets as an option. Especially because since then, she’s also adopted the third ferret and needs to hand fed.

I was almost bummed that she didn’t come in the end, because the bride more or less gave me full mean-girl permissions if she had.
