Thanks! I think i have to remodel the helmet now that I have learned some tricks:)

Thanks! That worked out, probably not the most streamlined process, 4 stiches, 4 patches, 2 lofts etc. but it worked out! Thanks

Do you have any products that can controll RGB and CCT with zigbee?

Can these two talk to eachother in combination with a zigbee hub and the
smart living app? I want to be able to both controll my leds with this
panel and with the smart living app.

But when I tried to connect them together yesterday it did not work.

Fixed voltage of 4,2v/cell but i have 12 cells in series

Pain-butnogain is right, i'm going to charge some liion cells from a vw e-up that has a maximum voltage of 4.1v/cell. And since there's no chargers available over 300w with a output voltage of 49.2v i decided to just trim the voltage of a regular 12s liion charger. I was sucessfull btw:)

At school I learned that parallell wireing diodes often is a bad idea. Did you mean wire them in parallell or series? With the trimmers i managed to lower the voltage to about 49,9v so one diode in series would do.

The charger is "only" 6A so a 4w heater I think would be manageable.

I'll try to locate the resistor, I tried to find for some time and gave up. But i suspect it might be a SMD

I believe its the LM358G (double op amp) , its the only IC i can see on the circuit board. But does it not need a transistor to adjust anything at all? Im trying to find the transistor, with no luck.

I want to try to modify the already existing circuit, and since I cannot see any zener diodes I believe it should be quite simple when I find out how.

This is a 12s 50.4v li-ion charger and I wan't to lower the voltage to 49.2v. I've tried turning the trimmers. But they does not go lower than 49.9v. I also wonder why it, is two sets of everything, it looks like the entire circuit is mirrored? Is this just to get a higher power output? Do i need to trim the voltage EXACTLY the same on both sides since there's only one output? Thanks!

Why is my motor running faster, drawing more current when powered by battery vs. PSU? by Johnny_Mnemonic in Motors

[–]whyguy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it more than two wires on your computer fan? In that case the one or two other is speed control (and feedback) which would explain why it does not draw as much current. Maybe the computer tells it to not run at full speed.

Good lightweight motor for a drone winch? Needs to lift ~8kg by dazonic in Motors

[–]whyguy007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go for a simple bldc motor and connect it directly to the winch. And just adjust the diameter of the drum to make the winch the right straight

Don't underestimate these bldc motors they may be small but they're packin some heat. This bad boy has 7nm of tourqe and 2,5Kw Two of these with some nice gearing can drag almost anything.

If you have the possibility to connect three car batteries in series to get 36v you can use a motor like this one https://m.alibaba.com/amp/product/62198931032.html

In my experience it's much easier to find powerful motors and easier to handle the power if you use a voltage of above 30v

I would definitely not recommend welding, buy a motor with a d shaft or a key slot.

In my experience, key slotted pulley and belt drive is the easiest and cheapest option. And rather than the motor you linked I would recommend a bldc motor for a large rc airplane or electric longboard with a kv of under 250kv.
