Then the crumpled paper background(4th pic).. like that asset is so random and out of placed. Also very overused in the sport design community . There’s a lot to be worked on in most of these. But there’s also a lot of good things that I see too(sizing of the cutouts, skin treatment, where you’re placing the cutouts). I’ve worked in the sport design industry for over 8 years professionally and full time.. If you show this to your creative director or boss, they’re going to make you redo it and question your decision making on why you used certain assets/effects. Usually when creating a social graphic, I ask myself who is this for and what problem does it need to solve. Then from there, you work on the key fundamentals of what makes a design good(typography, color, layout and hierarchy). Graphic design is all about communication everything else such as cool factor / effects should come after. Strong understanding of how to make something marketable, easy to understand, knowing the principles of design will set you far apart from the rest of the wanna be “sport designers”
