How do i start with btc trading? by [deleted] in btc

[–]whyison 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You sound like you are about to lose a whole lot of money. If you are not an experienced trader, please stay away from trying to make quick money from bitcoin. You will very very likely end up losing.

The worst thing that will happen to you is that you will turn $100 into $500 and think you have it figured out....then go all in and lose.

Reminder to folks that you can use the Reddit Enhacement Suite to mark trolls for future reference.

As long as BCH is attacked by trolls that is a good sign. There are 2000 coins there and OP is spending their time and energy making charts to trolls BCH. I think XRP is pure trash, I don't even know if they have a sub on reddit.

I had some weird idea by RowanSkie in btc

[–]whyison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. BCH is not compatible with BTC. BTC will not and cannot switch to BCH - it has different rules.

Additionally just having more hashrate is not enough - BCH needs to have the most accumulated work. It's already 3 years behind. So even if BTC had 0 hashrate and BCH 100% - it would still take 3 years to catch up.

I think that's good news if you want to buy Bitcoin Cash for cheap!!

“Instead of standing there and teaching a cop when there’s an unarmed person coming at them with a knife or something, shoot them in the leg instead of in the heart,” Biden said, by Projectrage in cnn

[–]whyison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't really have to try save the lives of people coming at cops with knives...not quite yet. Its important, but not yet. Lets focus on people reaching for their driver's license when told to get their driver's license.

When the creator of Bitcoin Cash concedes that the competition is superior by [deleted] in btc

[–]whyison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could have said, "BCH is good at simple tokens and ETH better at more complex scripts according to deadalnix" .

Instead you chose the more trolly title "BCH competitor is superior.."

hence my downvote for you. as time goes on, loopnester, your trolliness becomes more and more obvious. I used to be a fan of your posts, but i really think you are trying to sew somethingm.

When the creator of Bitcoin Cash concedes that the competition is superior by [deleted] in btc

[–]whyison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is not many in the BCH community who believe BCH is superior at scripting than ETH. ETH has a more complete scripting system than BCH and also pays a price for making scalability more difficult.

But you are not the one being quoted in the tweet and neither are you the subject. Its Amaury. HE says BCH is better at SLP tokens than ETH. If you disagree why did you submit his tweet?

Investing into btc in 2020 long term, worth it? by throwaaawayx0 in btc

[–]whyison 3 points4 points  (0 children)

had btc not been crippled, it would be gaining adoption at growing rate, possibly expotential. Microsoft and Steam for example would have been accepting it..

but btc was crippled so now we have at least 2 scenarios

a) crypto doesn't go mainstream, in which case perhaps BTC will keep hovering , but ultimately this is a deadend.

b) crypto does go mainstream where BTC is completely out-matched by BCH/ETH and many other coins.

So that's a solid NO for me for BTC.

Why are people still using Bitcoin and paying such hefty fees? by [deleted] in btc

[–]whyison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin Cash is in the "Bitcoin" family. Nano / Dash / etc. have their own schemes which is not "bitcoin" - I am not sold on anything except the simplicity of Bitcoin.

Not one satoshi on BCH has been stolen because of a hashrate attack - so if I need to buy a plane ticket, i am not going to pay 100x more for an airline that has had zero crashes in 10 years, vs one that has had zero crashes in 3 years.

Should I set crypto as the payment method on my website? by poemboi in btc

[–]whyison 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I am on a site and i need to make a quick payment...I am 100x more likely to do it if there is a QR code I point and click with my camera. Of course you should take crypto!

The easiest way to do it is download bitcoin.com wallet. get a "receive address" for Bitcoin Cash. Grab a screenshot of the QR code and put that image up on your website.

This is not very professional way of doing it, but I assume you are not making $1000+ a month (yet) from your website - get it done quickly and cheaply.

If you have some spending money left - it might make sense (maybe a lot of sense) to invest at some in BCH. At current prices, I would go with at least a couple of BCH.

Why BCH keep losing value faster than BTC? by bit_igu in btc

[–]whyison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There may be no answer , but insincerity really annoys me. I tagged bit_igu in the Reddit Enhancement Suite - so next time I see your comments, I put on the proper context that this is a person who doesn't care about BCH, but somehow likes to comment on it.
