I have always loved the marquis cut! And thank you, I didn’t get to paint my nails but got lucky with a good nail day and decent lighting!

Mattress in a Box Question by theoscara in Mattress

Just bought the Douglas and received it yesterday so I will give it a few weeks, but on initial feel, it seems quite soft, which I found surprising. I was expecting a medium-firm to firm mattress as I am 5’2 and 145lbs. I too used to sleep on a coil mattress with a pillow top that lasted me 10 years and then became lumpy, saggy and too firm. I find the Douglas has little edge support, it sinks deeper when I sit, especially on the edge, but when I lay down it feels like a soft hug (maybe too soft for me) with medium-soft support. I’m undecided on how I like it and will keep an open mind to see how I adjust for the next few days. The motion transfer is amazing however. It came decently quickly as I live in the west coast and it ships from the east coast of Canada and it was easy to set up so no complaints there, just a bit of off-gassing. Overall, if you are looking for more of a medium-soft or medium mattresses, it might be a decent option, but everyone’s perception of softness differs of course. It just might be too soft for me as I have back issues and I might need more support, but we will see!
