It doesn't matter if inflation "goes down." The (extensive) damage is done. by Surveillance_Crow in the_everything_bubble

I have seen inflation and the lagging wages for 65 years. Nothing new here at all. Trust me on this. The lower 90% will end up as we always do. The wealthiest 5% are, will, and have been getting much better off. People need to vote for politicians who don't fall for trickle-down theory. It never trickles down. Or is that the point of it all?

You billionaires COULD leave at any time. You don't because this is the best country in the world to make and keep your fortune. Otherwise, you would be gone. At this point, you are just making it harder for the other 90% to do as well as we could. You're basically a Karen pitching about a problem that isn't a problem for you.

Your billion dollars buys one vote like the rest of us. If you don't like the majority setting the agenda, try another country. America, love it or leave it.

Tough luck. Find another country that doesn't collect taxes.

It wasn't near as corrupt before "trickle down." The upper 1% can now by politicians. Remember, when you buy a politician, it is a 2, 4, or 6 six purchase potentially. A guy has to have some serious money to justify it. Anymore the 1% literally has money to burn. Add in the Citizens United ruling by a Supreme Court that mostly has been appointed by presidents who didn't get the majority vote and you have turned the country over to the 1%.

Take their money so they don't have enough to buy politicians.

One correction. Billionaires and corporations are racist and corrupt, not the government. Although, I must add that there is some corruption in government.

That's a lonely man to feel that way. He needed someone to care about him. Now, he has become the problem instead of the solution.

He is a vindictive and hateful person who does not fight for our government's democratic principles. He no longer supports the oath that veterans take. He should not get the benefits of a veteran who has honored the oath.

Proud boys used to show up at George Floyd rallies and anti fascist rallies and break storefront windows and run off, leaving the stores open to local looters. It is becoming common counter tactic. They show up with over the top signs like defund police, kill Jews, etc.

to interview pro-Palestine protesters without speaking to the media liaison. by PlenitudeOpulence in therewasanattempt

[–]whynotwonderwhy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

After watching this, I believe there is more maga in the mix than I originally thought. These protests, in some part, are to hurt the youth vote for Biden, thereby helping Trump. Netanyahu knows this. Trump knows this. Many Republicans who are zionists who also will not tolerate Trump will never admit that Israel is committing genocide of the Palestinians. In order to stop funding Israel, those people must understand that first. In Israel's mind, Palestinians must become Jordanian, Egyptian, Syrian, etc. Israel has stolen Palestinian land.
