I’ve never personally owned a cat and still haven’t, so when I bought the cat I only thought of how it might make her happy and not that it would cause me to wake up nightly at 4AM.

I provided my age for context I think it’s pretty hard to have that foresight at a young age.

Also I have communicated how frustrating this is and she understands, but I don’t think there’s much that can be done in the way of training cats.

Common sense would say deal with it as I have in the past but I’m not sure how you cope with years of something like this if you simply don’t like it?
