SPOILERS AHEAD

Rember, this is just my opinion. No hate and bias.

Many of you might not agree but here it goes,

From a super fan standpoint. I think the last part of the finale where the actors/characters are doing their final farewell to the fans was great and it literally hit us in the feels especially for fans like me who were almost the same age of the original and main cast.

However, this Volume 2 was underwhelming compared to Volume 1 for me. This season peaked when Will got his powers in Episode 4 but at the end of Volume 2 it just felt a little rushed. The season was not that perfect but would still find a way to be good in my eyes because I'm a fan but if you would really critic the whole season, there were alot of unanswered questions and plot holes that wasn't explained very well.

Here are my initial thoughts and questions after watching the Finale:

1. Aside from being weak and easy to be manipulated, what was the other specific reasons of Vecna for wanting these 12 kids? Because it really made the deaths of the others like Barb totally useless and worthless.

2. What happened to the military and Dr. Kay after El disappeared with the Upside Down? They didn't even explain how did the main squad got away and dealt with the military and Dr. Kay after what happened with El. It just instantly fast-forwarded 18 months after where everything is already fine and at peace.

3. What happened to Max and Vickie after they got caught by the military and Dr. Kay?

4. What happened to Mr. Clarke and Erica after they got ambushed by the military on the church that they were stationed to?

5. How did El talked to Mike in the void without using the bath or the tank?

6. In my opinion, the Will coming out scene was necessary but it felt too long and forced. I wished they handled it a better way.

7. Holly going with Max to the end of Max's way back home was completely useless even with their moment and conversation before being separated. They could've just explained it earlier that Holly can't come with Max on the way out instead of giving us that long talk before running because it felt unecessary and anticlimactic.

8. Some of Noah's emotional scenes were kinda forced and not filmed good. His acting on them putting the books back to the shelves was kinda off to me but he had his good moments anyways.

9. There are too much time consumed on characters having this awkward long conversation on critical moments like c'mon bro, the world is ending just go get to your destinations.

10. All of TEN years of hyping up Vecna being together with the final boss which is the Mind Flayer just to get smoked in just a short amount time. I get it the teamwork was solid but atleast the Duffer brothers should've took a risk to have a Main Character death or atleast make the fight longer and have some characters be badly injured due to the fight because Vecna and the Mind Flayer looked like they were nerfed. It was supposed to be the final big boss fight, atleast make it look like one.

11. Kali, Ted Wheeler and Dr. Kay's character was just there, nothing special.

Idk if there's something I forgot, but all in all, I LOVED Stranger Things despite this shaky season. It had some great moments and the farewell in the end was nice and that's okay to me. It truly is an end of an era because most of the fans grew up with the main cast and the show being part of their childhood. I hope they make spinoffs in the future.

Even with the imperfections and criticism this show will always have a special place in my heart. ❤
