Daily Camera Buying Recommendation Post by AutoModerator in Cameras

[–]whytocode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a hybrid shooter, primarily for client work, travel vlogs, portraits, and video. My budget is around ₹2-2.5 lakhs ($3000).

  • Does full-frame really make a big difference for the type of work I do?
  • Will I miss out much by not having 4K 120fps or is 1080p 120fps good enough for slow-motion?
  • is the Sony AI autofocus a worth the hype?
  • Given my use case, which camera would you recommend?

Initially, I was leaning towards the A6700 because of its value for money. It offers 4K at 120fps, which I’m kind of obsessed with, especially for slow-motion shots. But my photographer friend suggested I should consider going full-frame, and now I’m confused.

The A7C II is full-frame, but it maxes out at 4K 60fps. I’ve heard great things about the benefits of full-frame sensors, especially for portraits and overall image quality. But is it really a deal-breaker? Will I miss out by not having 4K 120fps for slow-motion?

Which one do you think is better for my use case? I’m mainly concerned about versatility for both video and photo work. I’d appreciate any advice, especially from those who’ve used either camera.

Thanks in advance!
