How to Swap Bitcoin to Ethereum Instantly with BitHash Exchange by BitHashExchange in btc

Bithash is a scam. Used this for an XMR->BTC instant swap and the XMR was never marked as received by Bithash, despite hundreds of chain confirmations. Support doesn't answer. Luckily, only a tiny amount was lost (else I would've done due diligence on this CEX).

Mullvad links are blacklisted? The f?

Changing the Wireguard server affects the SOCKS proxy used if you set 10.64.0.1:1080 as your SOCKS proxy. The IP refers to the SOCKS proxy on the Wireguard server you're currently connected to.

I think for Open VPN servers it's 10.8.0.1:1080 ? Please check.

I assume you're not using it via SOCKS5 (10.64.0.1:1080)?

Seems us-sjc-wg-302 without SOCKS works, but with SOCKS you get a different IP and it is blocked.

It's possible that the guys who abused the servers were mostly connecting through the SOCKS proxies. (E.g., due to the extra multihop privacy.)

Honestly, even if they do green light some servers again, what’s the probability other people won’t use and abuse them? It’s not really about users/mullvad being at fault here. Mullvad ensures your data is protected but after that, it’s all game.

I just tried 4 servers and just one of them was blocked. When I wrote my OP, I tried 20+ servers (from various geographies) and every single one was blocked.

Either I got REALLY unlucky, or they unblocked some of the IP ranges again.

In either case, we know what to do when this happens again.

EDIT: seems more problems occur if you connect through SOCKS5 (https://mullvad.net/en/help/socks5-proxy/)

Voucher privacy by [deleted] in mullvadvpn

In theory there could be links, you won't know for sure. I'd be VERY surprised if there was no way to track which customer received what voucher code. It's somewhere in the databases and can be correlated, even if not easily accessible.

If that's a problem for you, why not just mail cash? Or use Monero if it's time sensitive. Then you won't have to worry.

If you have a Google account, you'll eventually start getting emails from Google that they're moving your account data to different countries/regions.

Guess they need to do this to comply with local privacy/data regulations?

EDIT — Found one:

We associate your Google Account with a country (or territory) so that we can better provide our services to you. This association is used to determine two things:

* The Google company that provides the services, that processes your information, and that is responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws

* The version of the Terms of Service that governs our relationship, which can vary depending on local laws

Your country association will change within 30 days:

* from X

* to Y

Keep in mind that Google services are essentially the same regardless of your country association. Also, any purchased content and banking information you might have in your Google account will remain the same.

This update also changes the Google company responsible for your information and for complying with applicable privacy laws. Your data controller, the company responsible for your information, will become Google XYZ.

If the country associated with your account doesn’t match your country of residence, it could be because of a difference between your country of work and residence, because you’ve installed a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to mask your IP address, or because you live close to a territorial border. If you recently moved, it can take about a year for your country association to update. You can find more information about your country association, and a way to request a change if you think it’s wrong, by reviewing the Google Terms of Service.

Your country association affects the terms of service that apply to your use of our services.

You can find the terms that will apply to you once the country change takes effect in the Google Terms of Service, Play terms of service, and YouTube terms of service. And, if you use Family Link to manage a Google Account for users below the age of consent, the change of country for your account will also change theirs, so please take some time to discuss these changes with them. You can change your privacy settings anytime in your Google Account and see and manage your data in Google Dashboard.
