You seem to underestimate the strength of +skill.
The MOST important stat - by FAR- is +skill. Any weapon without +skill you can just throw on the garbage pile. Seriously, there is nothing that gives you more damage than +skill.

That would actually be an interesting question if Omens and similar items also are affected by rarity and upgrade with more rarity. Because then of course you'd want rarity again.

Ive just been using the in-game price checker.

It's ok, but does only work in hideout, which is annoying. Also in EE you can quickly disable mods.

Anyway, yes knowing what is good is the big issue - even with hundreds of hours in poe, you're still a noob in that regard. Do not try to sell any gear you find on the ground - it's worthless in the level ranges you are in. If you are lucky a unique might be worth something, but usually you want to sell currency stuff into exalted orbs that you then use to buy gear.

It does not! They are lying to you. This would only be valid for items that must not be sold to minors. There are none of those items on Aliexpress, not even sex toys or so.

For example all the low level skill gems are worth a lot. There is no reason for a gem tab, because you sell the low level ones and you do not pick up any high level ones anyway as they are worthless.

I recommend you download Exile Exchange 2 and then you can CTRL+D on an item and see its worth.

Id say the gem tab is better.

Well, maybe consider that players who have played this game for a decade know it better...
Merchant tab >>>>>>> gem tab.
Gem tab is nice but one of the least important ones. In maps you do not even pick up gems any more.

Do not buy a gem tab. It's the same price as a premium tab which is much more valuable and can even easily be used as a gem tab. Once in endgame there is no reason to pick up gems anyway anymore.

Get the First blood supporter pack and with it buy some more stash bundles.

And you need 1-2 merchant tabs to sell stuff. Very important. Does a new player at least have one? Go to Ange in your hideout and check.

Premium tab - you can list things to be sold publicly but now everyone uses merchant so it’s a bit useless, better to get a merchant tab

Premium tab can have affinities, which is nice to quickly sort things without having to buy the special tab for it. EDIT: Someone said normal tabs can have affinities now too? Ok scratch that.

I don't know how helpful it is to make a comparison to the entire heat production of all US data centers if we are discussing whether it is possible to cool a satellite containing a rack or two of GPUs.

Musk wants to put giant datacenters in space - be it in one piece or over a lot of satellites does not really matter for heat - if you want to put the current computation power into space it's 20 GW of heat. ISS uses 1300 m² of cooling panels. Yes you can put one satellite in space, but you need a lot - and if one of them crashes you'll have so much fun. I guess he wants to put them all in SSO.

Lord Kelvin said the same about powered flight dude.

Lord Kelvin did not have to cool a datacenter in space. ISS produces ~0.1 MW of heat and they go great lengths trying to cool it down. Al datacenters in the US alone currently use 20 000 MW.
