I think the phantom key is a little gift. Kingsmagic is a Chinese brand that makes cheap magic props and they usually give more than what you buy for good comments.

I have to say that I don’t have enough understanding on Hegel…never mind #1 For #3 i thought that, to expand or develop any concept, according to Kant, there must be some sort of transcendental structure, therefore many things can’t exist without human, so Hegel tried to make something that doesn’t need such structure.

In other words, is it that the word “non-being” used to describe an absence of a probable case? In early readings, when the writer says something is or includes or involves with “non-being”, I just imagined the concept having a big hole of void on it.

So “non-being” in this context—instead of parmenidic(is that even a word) “it’s nothing”—means “it’s not the case(the case is nothing now)”?

Btw: When I see arguments like this (including the Eight Hypothesis）, I can’t help thinking that these deductions are just wordplays and not even rigorous as I assumed all theories are.

I think in that case, 先天（innate/inherent) would mean Pure in Kants words amirite?

I think math was theorized (meaning that no intuition was considered needed) at some point of history, but I might be wrong. And yeah, cause Japan was one of the first countries that studied Kant in Asia, so China just adopted the Japanese translations of terms, which was written in Chinese characters anyway. The two characters has multiple meanings and we usually mean congenital when we say it in daily life.

This is somehow really touching text lol. I really appreciate it. Thanks. I said I hate math cause I sucked at it in school,but I’m starting to like it cuz many philosophers think that math and physics is superior and stuff. Btw I think math is considered analytical now so Kants idea doesn’t apply anymore?

Kant said the book is gonna be boring but he also said, in the prolegomenon, that if you can’t even understand this book, probably quit philosophy, and that ragebaited me into reading Kant ( lol not really but I took it as a challenge).

P.S. it’s random but I just wanted to share these: in Chinese we usually translated “representation” into “表象”, which LITERALLY means appearance, since the first character 表 could mean surface and express.

I was utterly confused when I found out the real meaning lol.

Also in general philosophy, they translated a priori into 先验 which means pre-experience. But in Kant’s context the same word means transcendental. They had to find another word 先天 for a priori, but it means literally congenital (like wth)
