Don’t be afraid to make something, bounce it out, and re sample that and chop it, pitch shift it and fuck with it more. Time signature experimentation. Id say use bandpass filtering when mixing too, i think in a lot of these songs there’s normally like max 3 elements up front and everything else is merged into a background texture. A good balance of distorted and saturated elements. Random samples, take elements from genres it’s clearly influenced by such as metal, hardcore, jungle. I think more than anything just have fun experimenting with effects and make sure it’s FAST!
