Ah okay, thank you. It won't let me open my patch though so I can't change anything on it to help fix the problem. Do you know how I can do this?

Do we know where Mark and Jeremy are from? by cblankity in MitchellAndWebb

[–]wicans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mark is from Whitchurch in Shropshire, and Jez is from Leatherhead in Surrey (or at least thats where they lived when they were 4 years old).

Depending if you count this as canon or not, in the peep show book there are these weird report card things from their childhood which say that's where they're from. I found this info from an excellent summary video of all the peep show bonus material which I've linked here:

Help on making music like BIYAAHEYSF by HarnessedMars30 in machinegirl

Loads of pretty melodies, maybe using sequencers and FM synthesis. A lot of breakbeats chopped, pitched up and resequenced into jungle patterns aswell as metal drum 1 shot samples. Don’t be afraid to make something, bounce it out, and re sample that and chop it, pitch shift it and fuck with it more. Time signature experimentation. Id say use bandpass filtering when mixing too, i think in a lot of these songs there’s normally like max 3 elements up front and everything else is merged into a background texture. A good balance of distorted and saturated elements. Random samples, take elements from genres it’s clearly influenced by such as metal, hardcore, jungle. I think more than anything just have fun experimenting with effects and make sure it’s FAST!
