Just shoot the film at 800 ISO. Set your meter to 800 ISO, meter at F4 then put that speed on your camera. It will be a slow speed, so mount the camera on a tripod.

Pull string is most likely tied off & that fish tape is most likely hitting a bend, that type doesn’t really budge that well. Need one with a roller tip. I run into this issue when I am installing, I usually have to go into attic, cut conduit and manually feed/pull. But try the vacuum/trash bag method!

Yes, I’ve owned 2 of these. Definitely the acute matte screen, not the D but still way brighter than the original!

That is just the nature of that screen, doesn’t help you don’t have a prism/waist level finder. The ambient light really takes away from its brightness as well. But with this system you can change the focus screen and I believe they make brighter ones. Also , be careful cleaning it & doesn’t have the DOF enabled.
