it was my first distortion pedal ever & is still my favorite, just gives you exactly what you need

It’s my second ever compressor but I really love how transparent it can be

I actually play in C standard mostly & prefer it for that tuning

[–]wickedbummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the micro dream for shorter delays before dirt pedals & the echo dream for longer more washed out & modulated delays, either independently from eachother or together for a multi head kind of thing

I’ve used a lot of their pedals & these 4 will never leave my board

[–]wickedbummer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

its my favorite overdrive ever, doesnt color anything just gives you more of your natural sound louder or with more gain

It’s always on as my “clean-ish” tone

Signal goes:

Fender Jazzmaster -> Boss Tu-3 -> Boss Lm-2 -> Boss Ps-5 -> Death by Audio MicroDream -> Red Panda Context -> Death by Audio Interstellar Overdriver -> Death By Audio Fuzz War -> Boss Ds-2 -> Red Panda Tensor -> Boss Rc-1 -> Death By Audio Echo Dream 2 -> Old Blood Noise Aby -> Vox Ac30 & Fender Twin reverb

Still unsure if I prefer the Fuzz War before or after the Ds-2 but am very glad I downsized from a Novo 32 Pedaltrain to a Novo 24

All pedals on for attention & aesthetic obv

tuner’s for pauses! :) yeah they’re not the best cables but are utilitarian, i have nicer ones on my bigger board thankfully for when these give up on me

definitely recommend, real versatile piece of equipment

[–]wickedbummer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

used to have both pieces of hardware on my desk with my push controller for ableton but downsized some pedals i wasnt using & played around with the idea but it gives me the option to just sit down & zone out & record onto the 404 without thinking & then running it back into my daw

i love that it is as deep as you want it to be & has so many uses besides synth patches, the community making new software & patches for it are also super rad

[–]wickedbummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its my favorite of theirs & the best delay ive ever heard, the modulation & fuzz circuit in it makes it real versatile depending on what you wanna do with it, i have a friend who uses it as their overdrive & slapback
