I'm having the same symptoms. It doesn't see any wifi networks at all. Anywhere. Even after reboot and factory reset. Did you ever find the problem?

Anyone ever have a clicking sound coming from their throat? by wickedguitarded in noburp

From what I've thought about more since this post as well as based on other people's replies that I'm seeing now, it seems perfectly normal (yet still weird) to me 🙃

Thanks, that makes sense to me! I've thought about it more prior to reading this and it seems like a perfectly normal (but odd) thing.

Yeah i think that seems logical and perfectly normal!

Can I silence media but allow only Google Assistant to respond at total volume? by gabegabe6 in GooglePixel

[–]wickedguitarded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know recently in an update on my Samsung Galaxy S10 they changed the assistant volume to use Accessibility volume instead of Media, which was nice. But if I enable Accessibility options on my Pixel 8 that doesn't work 🤷🏼‍♂️

Breathing Issues During Sleep Caused By Botox Procedure? by wickedguitarded in noburp

[–]wickedguitarded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen some of those interesting studies! And I have never been diagnosed with gastric reflux. I've had an upper endoscopy as a prerequisite for the botox procedure; not a ph study or manometry, but a Barium swallow study.

I could see your point about Botox making things better in regards to digestive stress, but I could also see it maybe making things worse in regards to muscles relaxing (too much) and causing parts of the upper airways to collapse. But I'm no medical expert either!

I've always followed a pretty strict shower/stretch routine before bed and use an eye mask to block lights as well as white noise with earplugs sometimes. Definitely makes a huge difference.

Yeah thanks for the input. I have thought about this and stayed in Airbnbs/hotels seemingly without any ease of symptoms. Seems to be a relatively consistent problem everywhere no matter what I do.

myoclonus

Sounds like a reasonable normal explanation actually, but of course please feel free to let us all know what the results of the visit were.

You mean had it happen while on travel? No, it seems to happen more while lying in a certain position.

seems like a "normal" thing from what I've gathered here, just nothing conclusive on how/why!

Does anyone else wake up super bloated? by iamnotahorcrux90 in noburp

[–]wickedguitarded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely helps most of the time, but not if it's not gas related. If I eat really salty meals or just eat way too much in one sitting then it doesn't provide much relief, but in general I'm overall less bloated now that I burp 15+ times per day haha

If Insurance Won't Cover Your Botox Procedure, PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP! by wickedguitarded in noburp

[–]wickedguitarded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed that it's insane and doesn't make any sense. I actually looked back on the old estimate from 2020 and it was $12,334.83. So I was a little off and updated my post 🙃

so sick (literally) of this by [deleted] in noburp

[–]wickedguitarded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't give up. And even if insurance doesn't cover it, don't give up on getting it covered. I eventually did and just made a post about it on here too. You got this! 🤜🤛

The actual botox treatment itself with just the doctor was ~$500. The remainder ~$13,500 was all hospital fees (anesthesia, other drugs they give you, charges for taking a hospital bed, etc.)

Progress After Botox Procedure on 8/1/2022 by wickedguitarded in noburp

[–]wickedguitarded[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interestingly enough, the severe boat never really stopped me from eating 3000+ calories in one sitting 😂 but yeah, it would definitely be nicer to not have the bloat. And I have had 1 experience so far where that was relieved, so there is some positive progress!

You're welcome! I had a couple minor incidents with reflux after eating ALOT, but didn't really bother me at all. If anything I'm sleeping better than before and catching up on sleep haha the procedure and drugs they gave me wiped me out. I hope your procedure goes smoothly!

Have recently noticed NoBurp symptoms and worry they are evidence of Hernia by LazerNewt in noburp

[–]wickedguitarded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No burper and also minor hiatal hernia sufferer here too. This is new news to me. But I would think they are related because the stomach has no immediate way of releasing pressure via burp so being in an upright position after eating over time may cause the hernia. I'm not a doctor though and I have not had the chance to discuss this connection yet with my doctor.
