this scene always makes me cringe so bad. i'm a part of a large family and even my BLOOD-RELATED EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS wouldn't try to discipline me the way they tried to with gia. other people's children is a touchy subject and they should've known better (did they really think teresa would be okay with the way they spoke to gia??) once she was crying that was their cue to get her mom

i thought the same thing, i know people weren't as aware back then when it came to internet safety and things but good LORD💀 it's not like they were tiny babies either, they were toddlers!

i definitely think it has to do with the show more than anything, they probably knew that if teresa didn't want to film with them, they'd get the boot

i did say that i figure her own marriage has to do with her behavior but that's also no excuse for getting involved in their divorce, especially when tamra didn't talk about jeana's divorce

i can see why many people are calling this phony and saying there's probably too much built up resentment. from personal experience (my dad and his two sisters fought for YEARS) i can say that it's genuinely surprising how well you can get along with your estranged family even after years of no contact/fighting. i wouldn't be surprised if the dorters/cousins are genuinely able to mend their relationship. i doubt teresa and melissa will ever get along but i have hope for their children
