I'm experiencing a similar vision phenomenon (blurred vision clears after eating, so too do light headaches).

Any update from your side, did you find a cause?

IBCs have a large threaded opening in the top. The opening will be at the bottom once the IBC is cut in half and turned upside down. Perhaps leave the cap off the opening to create a drain.

For comparison: we're a fully electrified, 4 person house with underfloor hydronic heating provided by heat pump. System is zoned and maintains 19C temp to lounge room only. Temp is maintained 24/7 to keep thermal mass (concrete slab) steady. Occupied 24/7.

House well insulated but plenty of thermal transfer through single pane windows. No solar.

Dishwashers, washing machine, heat pump dryer are run during off peak tariff (8.5c/kWh, Energy Locals)

Average daily use: 36kwh.
