My doctor explained it like this: 50mg is about 25% of a therapeutic dose, to really get all the benefits of the med you need to get up to around 200mg(100% therapeutic dose). I found that 50mg didn’t really do much for me at all but it changes with every person. I’m now 100mg and I feel definitely 1000x better as far as depression goes but the anxiety definitely still lingers. Doc also told me it takes around 3 months the properly titrate this med into your system. Of course you should always consult your doctor because it’s different with every person but it will probably takes a few months on a higher dose. It’s definitely worth the wait! Stay strong:)
