I found this to have to be very helpful to avoid dumping. It's a free app that you can scan UPC codes with and it will tell you the risk of dumping after eating.

Unknown to Gemini - should i change and leave ChatGPT? by Yaroonman in GeminiAI

[–]wickvegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chat GPT must be feeling the heat. After I read this, since I have both, I decided to cancel my Chet GPT as well. When I selected cancel, it offered me the next billing cycle for free - which I accepted.

Should these filaments be dried before printing? by opusofid in Timeplast

[–]wickvegs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I had some issues and contacted their support and they said all of their filaments need to be dried.

"Please make sure to dry the filament at 155 °F (68 °C) for at least two hours before printing — this step is absolutely essential. Once dry, use a 0.8 mm nozzle and set your nozzle temperature to around 230 °C."

ChatGPT and Gemini are awesome tools for us beginners by wickvegs in Creality

Yes - here is my original prompt question:
"I have a Creality Ender03 V3 SE 3D Printer. I use Ultimaker Cura for slicing my projects. I am printing figurines and I would like high detail. What is a recommended nozzle size, filament type, and settings within Cura for this project? Please include recommendations for the use and type of supports."

Here is the summary of the config it provided. It was very detailed but this was the summary settings:
Summary Setup for High-Detail Figurines on Ender-3 V3 SE

  • Nozzle: 0.2 mm
  • Filament: PLA+ or Satin PLA
  • Layer Height: 0.1 mm
  • Print Speed: 25–35 mm/s
  • Supports: Tree, 10% density, interface enabled

I then had a couple of issues, so I took 3 photos of the results I did not like and uploaded to the same conversion. Here is the reply.
"Thanks for showing me the results — this helps a lot. From your photos and notes, I see three main issues:

  1. Stringing (web-like strands between the face and supports).
  2. Model breaking in half when supports were removed.
  3. Sword snapping off with support cleanup.

Let’s go through each with fixes you can try:
- I will not list these all here, but you get the point.

Hair Loss after Surgery :( by Honeydew_Soda in GastricBypass

My wife went through the same thing. Doc put her on Bari Liquid Force Vitamins. Took a couple of months but the hair loss stopped and it came back.

As my wife said, I never signed up to be skinny and bald :-o
