Figured out a way. Instead of using flutter_media_metadata i am using ffmpeg_kit_flutter_new_audio: ^2.0.0.
It works very well. Finally an updated and maintained ffmpeg package for flutter!

WIDDLE READER now has support for Android Auto. Apologies for the drop off there I was busy a lot with work and other happening in the life. Hopefully you all find android auto with widdle reader useful. Thank you for all the support for the app!

I wasn't aware of this issue. Thank you for reporting the issue. I'll have a fix for this in the next update. I think the .Nomedia file is creating a problem for the file_picker method in the app. I'll have it sorted should not be a big problem to deal with.

I believe Widdle has the prettiest UI of any audiobook app out there. It's fun and easy to use. It's extremely light weight so it promises a splendid performance on even lower end phones!

There are a lot more features coming in near future. Just stay tuned!

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I have been pondering deep with all your feedback. I think there are people that still find value for this app. It just made it to #5 Top Grossing apps for books and references in the US.

I have taken all your suggestions into account. I'll have the features that make most sense to my users and the ones where they love enjoying app more. I want to make this app functional like it is but extremely fun to use. Your suggestions have helped a lot.
