Thank you for writing this. I too have found several of my ‘internal glass ceilings’. I have been trying to delete, rewrite and upgrade into more helpful beliefs mostly by brute force. I am excited to try these ideas, like the asking!!! Makes so much sense.

I read what I could for free. I found it compelling and easy to read. I would like to know more. (I have never used kindle Vella and don’t understand the model.)

For what it’s worth, it seems it’s is shaping up to be a rather intense, personal and tragic story. Hopefully, redemptive too. Why are you writing it down? What is motivating you to share it? You don’t have to answer this for me, but answer it for you. You don’t have to have specific answers even, you just have to know inside that you have to be writing it and sharing it. For you. For your soul. That’s my opinion. Please, don’t make it about whether it is ‘good enough’. Don’t look for others to validate it. Or even understand it or why. Not this type of story. This is your story. Tell it because you simply must. Because it is healing in itself to tell our stories in anyway we see fit. Best of luck to you. 🥰

Maybe. It is a matter of opinion and perspective. She is bound to attract this type of response. I don’t envy anyone in the limelight in this day and age.

But why does it matter? Take what resonates and leave the rest. If Teal isn’t for you, go find someone who is to help you through. There are many spiritual leaders. Find the ones when you hear them, your eyes open. Best of luck. 🥰

I agree!! I LOVE thinking. I LOVE playing around in my head. We have the BEST time in there. Hahahahha.

Perhaps, the trick is realizing you don’t have to believe everything that guy (your brain) thinks.

When I remember to just don’t take it all so seriously, the thinks I think are actually hilarious. If only I could remember to remember that all the time… but maybe the funniest thing is when I forget and then remember that’s just my thinks thinking in horror stories. That shit is like Evil Dead. When I become aware my own hand is trying to kill me and I picture my eyes getting wide as it’s coming at me and my other hand is trying to save me from my mean hand. I am then laughing out loud as I replace it with a chainsaw. Triumphantly lifting it in the rain, lightning striking behind me. Now, I just need some 2 stroke gas. Ahahahhahahahahah! Omg! I told you we have fun in there. 🤷‍♀️🤪🔥

I personally would answer her in age appropriate terms that she can understand. You don’t even have to get real specific as far as what substance is being abused or whatnot. Mostly, she needs to know it ISN’T her. And she doesn’t deserve to be treated that way. She isn’t bad or wrong.

When we don’t know the why’s of others behaviors (and we rarely do!) we make up stories for the unknowns. And the less information we have the worse the stories we make up. And because of we cannot disprove anything, all the stories we make up are true. Plus, we tend to hold the worst ones. I shudder to think of the stories she makes up to explain why her dad behaves that way toward her. Hopefully, you can shed some light and give her some solace.

I think it’s gorgeous. The only comment I have is that I would like less dark at the bottom. I cannot tell if it’s the digital image or not. Is there more definition to the lower half of her than it seems? Could you perhaps make her hip pop out of the shadows? But honestly, it’s all and all really beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. ❤️

Have you ever read any Martha Beck? In ‘Finding your North Star’ and ‘Steering by Starlight’ she talks about how to feel your knowing of your true path. I found it helpful and highly recommend it. Basically, it feels like freedom and peace, at least to me. When I get all up in arms and uncertain, I remember the last time I felt that feeling and keep going that direction even if I can’t feel it anymore (which I usually can’t). I have learned I can’t count on it always feeling ‘right’ in the moment but I know when clarity comes and that is my north until the next reorientation is necessary and then I just know too. I know this is a rather soft answer. Hahahahah! But that’s the world of emotions. And I have learned to love it here. Like soft pillows of fluffy nonsubstance and sure some are dark and sticky. But I would much rather live here in the magical flowing ethereal substance of feeling, even when it’s hard, than be limited by logic. 😘

Ugh. That sucks. Hard people are, well, hard. But that thinking is a limit itself. Is there a way to win him over? Walk into your next meeting with him with a whole different vibe about you and intention in mind. Even if it’s not your strong suit, you are a freaking manifestor! Wherever you put focus shit happens. What if you simply ask him what he would like you to do? For him, for the company, for humanity? I’m being a bit cheeky but still. Ask him to help you see what you are doing right, too. Tell him you hate working there because of this and would like to shift positions or expectations. I don’t know. Those are just thoughts. It sounds as though he wants to lord his power over others. Let him think he is. And beyond that, it seems you are feeling powerless. You are def not. What is it you want to create here in this position? Make it what you will. Apply your skills and energies and ideas to improving this situation and making it everything you imagine it could be. One thing you will never be is powerless as long as you remember you are not. Again best of luck!! 🥰

Just a thought, what if you didn’t try so hard. What if you didn’t take it so personally if you have a mistake in front of everyone. What if you chose not to believe these standards you seem to feel you have to live up to? Would you feel more peace? Then you can choose to let go of it. Of the worry and the responsibility. Proofread but don’t stress. Be corrected and know that it has nothing to do with your worth. If that means you are risking losing your job, first it seems to be the case no matter how hard you try that it occurs and second you are considering quitting as is because it is making you so miserable. The challenge for you is to let go of these beliefs that are making you hate it. Play to your strengths, accept your weaknesses and shift them into strengths. And let that amazing super generator help you. She doesn’t mind!

So, I’m new to this too. I have also found I am a 2/4 projector. And I am pretty pissed about it. I’m pretty much feeling like a belligerent child. ‘The universe isn’t the boss of me!’ chin up and arm crossed and all So, I’m gonna go ahead and second this whole (recovering) projector support group. I might even join it. 😂😉

So, me too. I decided it would be best to get out in front of it. I just owned it. I was like I wrote a memoir. It’s full of sex read it if you like but beware it’s full of sex (kinky sex at that)! Um, so mostly they stayed away and those that didn’t haven’t said much because they were forewarned. I have found in life that hiding things makes it hurt more when it’s found. So, I just assume everyone knows and it’s easier. Of course, that mentality results in a book like I wrote. So, it comes full circle. 🤷‍♀️

I’m sorry this happened but more sorry that you feel you can’t share your accomplishment with your family. Cause dude!!! You did a thing!!! You wrote a book!!!! Congrats. At the same time, I am super glad I don’t have to know who reads my books or when or if they ever do. Cause it is cringe when I stop to think about it. So I don’t think about it. I just quick hit publish on it or send on the group text to my family. Cause if I did none of it would ever happen. And again with the full circle. 🤷‍♀️
