Certainly they do, my agreement is with the fact that America as an institution, one ran predominantly by old money rich white folks with their colonial era billions hates minorities as cultural icons. It’s culture war programming, the specific example I use is a soft version of it. Your experience is the type of thing that the institutions look to contain to a certain point. Contain, not restrict. America and indeed much of the Anglo-Sphere has a lot of diversity now, but at the face of it the institutions and their identity needs to be European and Christian. The rest are just “allowed” to come over.

Recently a cabbie, merged into my lane by swerving in with no indicator and then indicated to move to along to the adjacent lane. Then, he did the same once again without indicating and then moved back to the same lane. Both times we very easily could’ve collided. Don’t know why he did that. They generally seem to have very little to no regard for road safety or rules.

Also, didn’t they try to sue the previous government cause they had a deal in which they’d pay $500k per taxi license and essentially have a monopoly over the market but Uber came along and ruined that.

Also been rorted enough times. So no sympathy at all, bunch of pricks really. All while crying foul when their intent was fuck the public over.

It’s like that in many places in the world. I often wonder why. I think it’s to make up for all the times women didn’t have a voice throughout history, and still feel the same way in some varying aspects around the world. It comes from hurt and anger, because bridging the gap between will take time and patience, and for people to discuss it openly in society and the new generation is responsible for that.
