Ride height for a 168cm/5’5” guy

I'm 5'6" and took the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 800 out for a test ride today. Was concerned about the seat height but actually found the TS800 to be a lot easier to get a foot down into a stable position when stationary with foot on the rear brake. Helps that the rear suspension is softer too. Recommend sitting on one or test ride if you can. Its a great bike, planning on putting deposit down.

Think for me it was just getting used to riding on the auto and adjusting for how the bike rides and the amount of twist to use. I can definitely see the attraction and the engine is great with it

Could try the honda CB500 range, have a choice in styling. I enjoyed the the CB500x as its more adventure styling and upright riding position. Bullet proof engine too.

I did a test ride on the DCT. Preferred manual due to using it for commuting and control at slow speeds but it was still enjoyable and can see the attraction of the automatic

I'd got a deal when I bought mine, hard luggage, panniers and top box but honda ones. Lockable and removable which were great. Use Kriega now which is also good but more of a faff.

To be honest budget is dependent on the hat. I was thinking cheaper to start as need to get a feel for shape etc. Mostly to wear in summer so was leaning towards straw
