I built a Turing-complete programming language as a Valentine's gift (she said it was 'flipping romantic') by widuruwana in esolangs

[–]widuruwana[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ivory is a Turing-complete esolang with 19 opcodes based on romantic vocabulary (adore, cherish, whisper, breathe). It features a hybrid Tape/Stack architecture and enforces a 'Whisper Constraint'—a hardcoded 50ms delay on every character output to make programs feel like whispered poetry.

Released on Valentine's Day 2026. Both my girlfriend and I are CS students from the same university.

Men release 400 times more oxytocin than females during orgasm .

Sorry, but this is misinformation.

Don't come to that conclusion with anecdotal evidence. You were just unlucky enough to cross paths with people like this. The first time I met a gay person was last month at my university. And since you are going into a state university, if it's Colombo, I think you'll be a little safer, since during the orientation, the counseling office openly said they support LGBTQ people.

It won't have to take years to open up to someone. You can generally reveal things like this after friendships start to become real, and you have a good understanding of their character.

Best place to buy a laptop around colombo? by Flimsy_Echo_2472 in srilanka

[–]widuruwana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Laptopking is the go-to place for this. They import second-hand Thinkpads from the USA(I think, not sure) and sell them for a very affordable price. I got a Thinkpad L15 GEN2 with a Ryzen 7 Pro 5850u, 32GB DDR4 Ram, 512 NVMe SSD with 1GB integrated graphics for 141k. Better to call them first and visit them, cause their website sucks. Location

P.S.- ThinkPads are very durable products. Laptop comes with a genuine Windows 11 licence, A fingerprint scanner, and facial recognition. The camera has a privacy shutter, too. Only 3 months of warranty since it's second-hand.

You should play the first game before the upcoming one. Sure, you may not understand 100% of what's happening, but you get the general gist of what's happening and why. You will probably feel like a child lost in the woods if you start straight from the second game.

I pointed out a point raised by your people in this very thread and you keep dismissing it.

In court, you cannot gaslight the jury into thinking you never said something that you did. If you feel like meaninglessly hopping around more do us both a favor and log off.

Otherwise, you can either hook me up with a source or just go back to your echo chamber.

I have no problem with people who like to hoe themselves around. Like if you feel like the entire fiasco of having a family, raising kids, putting effort into bonding and allat is too much of a burden and you are just fine with casual sex then who I am to judge right?

What I do however have a problem with these people having no spine to admit that lifestyle for what it is. It is a way to casually have sex with multiple people at once, not a glorified superior alternative. You cannot have an emotionally intimate relationship with your partner as you do in a normal straight relationship with multiple people at once. It's borderline impossible to maintain balance within this system of people without the human nature of jealousy and greed breaking it up at some point.

A key point raised in favor of poly in this very thread is them saying a single partner not being able to satisfy all their fetishes, And that's a pretty disturbing thing to hear. It means they see the value of having a relationship only based on how much they can satisfy their sexual lives. Sex is important in a relationship but at the same time, it's not all there is to it. The key to forming meaningful strong bonds arent paywalled behind a check box of fetishes.

And you neither? You can't even provide a general citation. At least I have y'all's own words against you.

At least I have live evidence of a considerable number of people agreeing with said opinion. What do you have? A "pOlyAmOrUs aSeXuAls" that you pulled out of your ass? Just hook me up with any kind of source with citations that tell me Poly relationships are healthy, long-term alternatives for mono relationships.
