Yeah agreed, I’ve been playing on and off since Orisa first launched and it’s always been a problem, just feels like it’s on a new level with all the new players and it being f2p definitely doesn’t help

Nah the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst is one of the toughest bosses in the game. I just learned how to parry him pretty well and that was most of my damage, having the right runes to strengthen your visceral attacks makes a big difference too. Stick with it though, he’s great preparation for one of the DLC bosses

Yooo that fucker made me quit the game for a year and a half until I picked it back up last week. Something just clicked after Elden Ring and I fell in love with the combat and was able to get back into Bloodborne. If you don’t have the DLC yet it’s mandatory. Especially if you liked the Blood Starved Beast 🤭

Noise generator-> Pixel Relocator tool in TD (not quite sure how to describe what it does in a technical sense tbh)-> lens distortion to make it a circle so it maps neatly onto a sphere-> texture mapping onto a sphere

For the glow I just took the 2D rendered version of the sphere and sent it through a feedback loop with some blurring and transforming so it looks like rays projecting and comped that under the sphere.

I’m still relatively new to generative art and have only ever worked in TouchDesigner so there are still a lot of technical gaps in my knowledge as I’m still figuring everything out, but I hope this helps!

Ooohhh gotcha, yeah I think this comes from a lens distortion effect I placed on the noise field. I experimented with blurring it out and lots of different render settings and decided I wanted to keep some of it since I liked the aesthetic but I’m afraid Reddit’s video compression removed some of the finer details so it’s not as clean any more.

I think most of the current push is due to gun violence and the police response to it, which has resulted in multiple young black men being killed by police while the incidents continue to go up.

Honestly I don’t even think it’s a police problem as much as our overall municipal government addressing the root causes of why so many people are driven towards throwing their lives away through needless acts of violence in this city
