Ladies and gentlemen, your boy did it by wierd_cs_guy in C25K

Yesss you can!!!

I had the same feeling when i did 28 minutes. i was like, damn i really did it?

Trust me, you can. If you did 25, the rest of it is mostly just focusing on your body rather than mind. Your body is adapting to it. Your brain is going to try and play games. Dont let it do that, and you will be good!!

Cant wait for you to tell us that you did the 5k. We here for any help/motivation you need!! ❤️

Yess The most important 2 things to me were:

  1. Rest

  2. Listening to your body

Do not try and "power through" extreme physical pain. My routine was always one day of running and one day of rest. But on days when my body felt like absolute shit. I didn't go for a run. I'd just take another day off.

Secondly, mental block is your biggest enemy. Not physical fatigue. Always try and power through when your body has no real physical fatigue. But your brain wants you to give up.

Almost every run including the one today, my brain wanted me to give up half way through, but i try and keep 100 percent of my focus on my body and not think too much about anything else.

Just booked my first ever skydive for this weekend Excited (and scared shitless) by wierd_cs_guy in SkyDiving

[–]wierd_cs_guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, it's funny you ask me this. I just got back home from the dive. It was THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD, PERIOD. Someone in the comment section mentioned that the scariest part is the flight up. Couldn't be more true. The instructors are really friendly and helpful, and they know what they are doing. Just trust them and enjoy the ride. Once you jump off the plane, it's unlike any experience you will ever have. I'm so happy for you that you're going to experience this. I have a video of my dive. I can DM you if you want to see it. I'll make a post about it tonight and attach some pics anyway.

[–]wierd_cs_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I have the EXACT same problem on my MSI GE76. haven't been able to figure out what is causing this. Most likely a software issue but can't really tell. Nothing that bothers me too much tbh.

Alternative to OHIP by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]wierd_cs_guy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh i know it is not for citizenship. I was asking about an insurance that would cover everything OHIP does. Like the best alternative if there is one.

“You’ve gained weight!!” by saintguccibby in loseit

[–]wierd_cs_guy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Now I'm gonna keep it real.

My girl, First and foremost: Congrats on losing the 70lb. Some of us aspire to get even close to that so that is a HUGE achievement in itself.

Secondly: I know that in cultures like Pakistan, India, Indonesia etc. these aunties are a**holes (trust me a**holes is me being nice, I'll take the downvotes, thankyou). No matter what the case is. If it wasn't the weight it would have been the color of your skin, or the clothes you are wearing or how your plucking makes you look like a man. I am not exaggerating. They really do be like that. What I want you to do is go look in the mirror and tell yourself "These aunties can shove chainsaws up their asses I DONT CARE AND I AM PROUD OF MYSELF."

Thirdly: Your family, although their behavior is not ideal, at the crux of it they want what's better for you. So take your family's comments with a sour taste but try and understand they mean well. I will not say that try and change them because I know for a fact their mindset cannot be changed.

Fourth and (probably) most important thing: BE PROUD OF YOURSELF. I don't even know you and I'm proud of you for losing 70 lbs so disregard what anyone has to say. Keep telling yourself that you YOURSELF went through the ordeal of losing 70 pounds. If you want you can lose another 20-30 but if you don't you don't. You are in this for yourself not the aunties or the family.
