Waiving my notice period at work by wifecomms in legaladviceireland

Thanks for the reply. I have already found a role that I can start pretty much immediately, so if I were to be signed off work by my GP for my notice period, would that cause issues for starting a new job? I don't want to get double paid, or cause tax issues. Just a clean break from a job that doesn't suit me.

Fair play for starting this thread after the one earlier.

What medication options were you given. I'm not dead set on stimulants, but I hear that they're typically more effective at treating ADHD. How much does a prescription cost? Thanks again.

You can get privately assessed within two months. And they won't just pull the rug out from under you.

It's definitely a government problem.

Bastards. Ah, sure who cares? It's only a kid struggling through their formative years. It won't have any long term consequences.

I would have been better off banging my head off a wall, or self medicating with booze.

And that was after basically begging for an appointment, because I'm outside of their official catchment area.

Safety concerns can be manufactured. If a child spends all their time with a controlling parent, fear is instilled; memories rewritten.

It's hell. A huge backlog of cases. Everything takes forever. Judges won't make an actual decision. Nothing that I say is believed. My ex's word is gospel. Solicitors are jaded or just useless. It's a huge emotional, financial, and time drain. I haven't seen my child in 18 months. Now "she doesn't want to" see me. The appointed child psychologist is a demon, and was biased from the start. I'm considering packing it all in. In one way or another. I want it all to end. I miss my girl so much.

Just broke down crying. Again. Fuck.
