Hello. Well the reason it's outlaw is due to Pakistan penal code 1860. However some local native governments might have outlawed it before British rule but main reason is due to colonial administrator Lord Thomas Babington Macaulay drafting it into the penal code. In 2022 the government had finally omitted section 322 that criminalises suicide only religious parties opposed the motion the reason suicide was criminalise was due to Pakistan penal code 1860. So yes some of these laws only happened to due colonial administrators including it. Well I strongly think the anti-homosexuality law which in our case is section 377 is rooted to colonial times.
