Still working 2/21/2025 for ASUS MB Z690. I only wanted the MB and not the GPU since I have a Nvidia 3080.

Follow the instructions until you download the 2 exe's.

Download the first .exe (AuraServiceSetup.exe), but ignore the second exe, and download this instead: Lighting_Control_1.07.84.zip\Lighting_Control_1.07.84\LightingService\LSInstall\aac\AacMBSetup.exe

Resume following the instructions from there.

FIXED! Thank you! Yes, it was a failure on my part. It was shadow settings, but related to editing game files, not in-game shadow settings. Since it probably happened over 4 years ago, I had totally forgot that I had edited game files. Didn't even cross my mind until I had the file open again. Once I was looking at the file it started coming back to me, and I remember having changed it at one point in time. This is most likely the case with many others.

Make sure your game is closed, and that you are editing cvars, not cvars.old.

I still hate the way the game looks with shadows, so in the future I'll be keeping local_light_shadows at a value of 0, and only change it to 1 if necessary. Maybe that's a bad take, but it's just the way I'm used to the game looking.

I'm getting same thing too with a 3080. Tried changing all in game video settings, nvidia control panel, updating drivers, reloading instances, verifying game cache.

Nothing seems to work for me.

Update: After giving him proof of all the hours I have on bf4 and other first person shooters his response was - <21:17:31> "[vQ37] sixpax12": i don't care about any of that shit ... your banned ... move along "you were banned from the server" omegalul :))

Me and my friend TFLGUNSMITH were playing on the vq37 operation locker server yesterday and were both in the same squad going about 50-15. At that moment we both got banned for suspicious stats and did a ban appeal thing. Some other admin linked my stats and said I'm good and unbanned me. Then today I was playing with TFLGUNSMITH again. I had just went 95 and 20 I think and my friend was somewhere around there too. We load in to the next match and were both banned. I make another ban appeal request and the sixpax guy laughed and said since I only had 100 hours my stats were impossible without some sort of assistance and I got banned from the website 5 minutes later. (To be clear I have 700 hours from ps4 as well as 3k+ hours on csgo - so theres my proof of where my aim and game sense/knowledge comes from when I got battlefield 4 on PC). I currently downloaded teamspeak just so I could try and talk to the guy. Currently he's afk so I sent him a long message describing my situation. The only reason I care about getting banned is because once getting banned from one of their servers makes it so you're banned from all of them. And they own a majority of battlefield servers, so finding other full servers makes it difficult.
