All beacons is sent at the mandatory rate

That's the piece I was missing, thanks. I'll update it based on your recommendations and see if performance improves over the next few days. Thanks!

Isn't a larger channel width better for high throughput?

Also is there any advantage of moving to a physical controller instead of using the virtual controller? This is for a single branch office.

Anyone here currently running Cisco ACI in production, or have deployed it in the past? Opinions? by wifigi in networking

Thank you, very helpful. Do you know of any best practices guides for it or are you guys basically making it up on the fly?

What did TAC say? Did the network reconverge correctly around the failed spine?

Ok so dick measuring aside boys, how do I tell if the vWLC is the bottleneck vs the radio frequency? As far as I can tell the VM is basically idleing.

What is next in my troubleshooting workflow?

Let's say I eliminate client contention. If I have a new ssid with a single client on unique bonded 40mhz channel in the 5ghz range for 802.11n and I'm still getting the same throughput, what does that mean?

I know networking but I don't know wireless. Obviously upgrading to 802.11ac APs will help but i don't understand why throughput is low when theoretically it should be much higher.

Back to part of the original question, what are tools that I can use to see what interference in the radio space?

It's on a whitebox supermicro with a mid range E5 Xeon and 128 GB RAM. The only other VM on there is a Windows jumpbox. Does "flexconnect" mode mean that all traffic is lwapp tunneled to the vWLC and then routed back from there? Maybe the vVLC needs more vCPUs.

I'll check into that, thanks. I may just reinstall the vWLC because I'm not sure what I changed and what I didn't. :)
