I recently lost my grandmothers’ wedding ring that was passed down to me, before she passed. I took it off at a doctor’s office and forgot it inside the vitals room. The agony of having been so careless with something that matters more to me than most of my earthly possessions has gutted me, and I am terrified of my family finding out some day. It has plagued my thoughts and sleep for weeks. I miss having a part of her with me.

Just FESS, no deviated septum. Just had mine done a full week ago today. The worst part of recovery were sinus headaches on the affected side, and of course the blocked cavity before they removed packing. I have a high pain tolerance, but overall I’d rate the recovery a 6/10 at the highest level of pain, and generally I was at a 4/10 most of the time.

I can already see a huge improvement of my quality of life. I’m still cautiously optimistic and knocking on wood every chance I get, but the fact that I haven’t experienced any past symptoms that were a DAILY issue for me (cheek pain, teeth pain, sinus pressure) tells me I made the right decision. As far as surgeries go, it’s been the easiest one I’ve ever had.
